She's quite impersonal and hard to talk to about your main concerns. She seemed in a rush while dealing with me and when telling me about things I needed to get done, she quickly ran through it and didn't bother asking me if I even understood why I needed a procedure like removing my wisdom teeth or getting fillings replaced or how it worked without me interrupting her and asking. Even then she sort of just rushed through it and it felt like she was just trying to get me out of the seat as quick as possible. The exeperience itself was bad, I had to wait an hour just to see her, and front desk seem to just ignore me the entire time. I finally got to see her, but she was there for only about five minutes. What I needed to get done and the whole point of the visit, a filling replacement, was not even addressed during the visit though I brought it up multiple times as the reason why I was there in the first place. She poked at my teeth for 30 seconds and told me to make an appointment. I have to wait until my next appointment to have that procedure done. She just comes off as rude and unconcerned about what you want or need. I'm definitely changing dentists after my next appointment.

the service was a bit slow - i was waiting a long time and did not know what they were waiting for. i got some facial swelling, but i don't know if it's because i still have a recessed root canal that needs treatment (today) or if it's allergic reaction to ibuprofen, or if some anasthetic used had a bad reaction for me. more comments pending today's visit. the doctor definitely knew what she was doing but again i only had a tooth cleaning, the canal cleaning is today.

This is a follow-up to a review below posted in August of 2005. I finally extracted a refund for the bad denture that I paid $1300. for by appealing to my dental insurance company. I am now with another dentist who made a new denture (paid for by the insurance company) for me that is great.. I am adding these comments to encourage victims of incompetent dental work to do everything they can to get compensation for poor work. Though it took time, my insurance company was wonderful. Another tip: document everything. Take photos if you can. Ask your insurance company to refer you to one of their consulting dentists. Once the insurance company saw the photos of my lacerated tongue, the process moved forward.. I note that this particular dental practice is ranked worst in San Diego by Dr. Oogle. Stay away!

There seems to always be a new nurse in training who has no clue what they are doing.

The work done on my filling was awful. I had problems with the tooth for six months after, and that does not include the rough edges. Then after spending a ton of money on an "attractive" filling, I find that I have another cavity under it. The dentist painted it as my fault, but after reading the other reviews I wouldn't be suprised if it was due to the shoddy work. Don't get me started on the awful, unprofessional staff.

A bad choice. One one hand they try to charge you as much as they can, on the other hand the results are horrible. I have recently lost one of my teeth after having spent a lot of money, after a lot of pain and suffering. I do not think they pay enough attention, they are always in a rush and looks like there is NO coordination between the different doctors. As an example (just one), the hygienist said I needed a deep cleaning, which I had, and then after Dr. Kajian and her have seen me a lot of times the periodontist discovered that I have a major (aparently EVIDENT) different problem they never saw. Not recomended at all.

I have now been to this office 4 times in the last month and I have never waited LESS than 45 minutes to even be called into an exam room! The last time I was there I had waited an hour and was asked to wait another 20 minutes before just getting a room. I had to reschedule my filling because I could not wait any longer. What a complete waste of my time! Dr. Kajian seems nice enough and seems to be competent, but the facilities in the office are old and dingy. The xray machine seemed completed outdated and even the staff was complaining that it was broken! I wouldn't recommend this dental office to anyone.

Dr. Kajian spends as little time with her patients as possible, and is unkind and unapproachable. After giving me my nightguard (which never fit right) she said "Call if you have any problems. A problem means you are in pain." The rest of the staff are friendly, but the waiting time is unacceptable. This is the only dentist's office where my teeth cleaning was painful.

Long waiting time. The attitude was overall rude and unpleasant. The most painful experience among all dental treatments I have had before (and just to clean my teeth!) Would not recomment
