So glad I went to Dr. Mundenar, he was awesome!! I had 3 wisdom teeth removed, 1 of which was impacted, they made my experience much much better. I was scared of sedation and was in soo much pain, but they gave me alternatives and almost completely eliminated my pain. Wisdom teeth are gonna give you pain, but a really good doc like Dr. Mundenar really does make a difference!

I arrived a little early to my appointment, 30 minutes in they tell me he is running late on a procedure and he will be maybe about 20 mins. another 30 minutes later...I ask how ling they think he will be and was told they could not tell me that they were unable to disturb him. I don't mind waiting if you can give me a timeframe...but they just wanted me to wait...indefinitely! Needless to say, I will not be returning....

I arrived at 2pm which was 15 mins early for my "extraction" appt. I left the office at app 4:20pm without seeing the dentist and no update or conversation from his office personnel.
I left primarily because the young lady sitting besides me told me she was also there for an "extraction" and she was sitting their in pain (she described as worst of her life) . She informed me that her dentist called for appt as an emergency and the Dr said to send her over. She had been sitting waiting since around 12:30 - 1pm she told me.
Since I was after her...I decide to leave. It was 4:20pm. I waited 2 hrs & 20 mins.
Told office folks why I was leaving and she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to reschedule. No was my reply. Oh. She offered no apology. No sorry for the inconvenience.
Would not recommend this doctor to anyone. A dr so into "overbooking" that it is not even funny!

My daughter needed to have 2 permanent teeth pulled for her orthodontia treatment. Dr. Mundenar and his staff were wonderful. There was very little waiting. The visit went smoothly and quickly. Dr. Mundenar took the time to explain the different anesthesia options available to us and told us what he would do for if he was treating his child. It was clear that Dr. Mundenar wanted us to feel comfortable. The office staff were professional and caring. I would reccomend Dr. Mundenar to anyone in need of oral surgery.

He is okay, but his staff is unfriendly, curt and rude. I wish I had known, I would of gone to someone else.

This experience was awful. This doctor has a callous bedside manner. There is also lots of waiting. We sat for one hour in the waiting room for the first appt. There were many other people booked at the same time and we all waited for at least an hour before anyone went back. I felt as if my time was not important. The doctor does not even seem to be there until long after my appt was booked. After waking from the procedure I was terrbily naseous all day. Had to take a very expensive medicine to stop that. The pain drugs made me nauseous and did not work except to bring some edge from the pain. The nausea and constipation caused me to need to call others doctors for help. My family doctor was a bigger help and he's not a dentist. I am advised by a doctor that I should to go to the hospital now to get very expensive tests to find out if other damage was done. THis experience was the worst of my life and this doctor is completely not of any help after all the pain caused by this procedure.I was never forwarned of this I am still in excruciating pain over one week later, now I am hearing from others the same stories and I wished I checked on this site before I went there becasue I see other bad reviews for this doctor

My daughter had an appointment to have two teeth pulled today. Very simple procedure, 2 premolars. At 3:30 pm we arrived precisely for our scheduled appointment. We were told that they were running about a half hour late and had left a msg at our home about 45 minutes before. We waited, and waited and waited and watched consults go in who had arrived long after we did. When the wait approached 2 hours and no explanation was made from the staff as to why yet another consult was going in before us, we left. This seemed to be par for the course. We will find a more reliable oral surgeon. Fortunately, it was not an emergency.

Dr. Mundenar is the most concerned, best informed oral surgeon I have ever had work on me.
He has hands of gold, and he is superior with anesthesiology. I was eating the night of my tooth extraction appointment! He actually called me to see how the pain was and how I was handling the tooth extraction. A very high standard of care.
His staff is also supremely nice and very helpful. It was a joy to visit his office.
