Dr. Kim does not have very good "bed side manner". I did not feel like he would explain anything. He always seemed in a hurry to get finished.

I know this doctor: 1 year

My husband had a tooth extracted and a bone graft done by this dentist. This dentist only uses Halcion (oral sedation) for his procedures and my husband remembers the entire surgery and said it was so painful! When my husband went back for a quote for the implant, he told the doctor he was still in a lot of pain and the dentist simply told him he shouldn't be and that he was really okay. He didn't take any x-rays or examine him closely. So we decided to go to another doctor for the implant and she said that Dr. Kim's bone graft never hardened AND he had left a tack in there (which apparently most periodontists don't use anymore FYI) and this was causing a more severe infection because it was starting to come out through the gum! My husband was ultimately referred to an oral surgeon where we've spent thousands more dollars (not to mention about 3 more surgeries) than we should have on this because we've been trying to fix this doctor's mistake! It's been a horrible experience! If you go to this doctor get a second opinion before you decide to follow through with the surgery!

He extracted my molar with only local novacaine and it was extremely, extremely painful! A full 45 minutes of the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I sweated through my shirt, and hair was soaked with sweat when done. I screamed and yelled constantly for 45 minutes of pure hell. I begged him to stop the procedure, but he said that he couldn't once started. I am usually a very good patient, and was totally caught off-guard by the extreme amount of pain and suffering I had to endure. It was absolutely mid-evil. I wish I had a video, because no one can believe in a modern day that I had to go through such a tremendous amount of pain and suffereing to have a tooth extracted.
