As a child, I had a horrific experience with a Dentist. This caused me to be terrified of dentists in general . Just the thought of making an appointment made my hands sweat and I would start to shake. I found Dr. Nolan from googling..then researching his name from several sites. I sent him an e-mail about my fears and desperate need to get some help. My teeth were in bad shape and I was in daily pain. Not only did Dr. Nolan write back to me the same day..he talked me through making an appointment for x-rays. I found his quant office and was greeted by his lovely receptionist. She imediately could see how afraid I was..and told me about other fearful patience they have helped. I was able to get though the x-rays ( with another of his sweet staff) and was constantly asked how I was doing..simply put, attentive. I never felt talked down too or embarassed about my fear. Dr Nolan came in and was very kind. He took the time ( 45 minutes!!) to explain exactly what was going on. He went over each picture with me and made suggestions on what he thought our next step should be. He explained the cost of what my insurance would cover, and what my options were for sedation. In my opinion, this is how everyone should experience a dentist!

About Hygienist: Sweet, friendly, kind and thoughtful. I never felt as if they were rushing and was given lots of time to be ok with each new step.

I cracked my tooth at dinner and every dentist office was closed. My boyfriend found Dr. Nolan in the yellow pages and made an emergency appointment for me. He met us at his office in less than an hour and worked on my broken tooth. He gave me a temp until my follow up appt to give my permanent tooth. I was in pain, stressed, chicken and in a hurry to pick up my children from the airport. He gave me Novocain immediately and kept asking me about my comfort level through out the procedure. I even got to pick up my kids on time! Thank you Dr. Nolan!

Before Dr. Nolan, regular teeth cleanings and dental procedures were a nightmare. I avoided going to the dentist at all for many years until I read about Dr. Nolan. Dealing with Dr. Nolan and Debbie makes it so much easier to keep my teeth clean and healthy. Together with the receptionist Paula they create a family-like atmosphere that puts you at ease and takes away anxieties. You are always kept informed about Dr. Nolan's schedule and whether you should come in later than the scheduled time if he is running late or can come in earlier if someone cancels. For an emergency repair, I can always an appointment right away. Dr. Nolan and Debbie are always sensitive to my needs during procedures and are always careful to make sure there is no pain, that I have a blanket if I am cold or whatever else I need to make me as comfortable as possible. Everything about his office is up-to-date from the digital x-ray photos to the internet in the waiting room. He is always great about explaining what needs to be done and how long it will take so you always feel like you are in control of what is going on when your teeth are being worked on. I have always highly recommended Dr. Nolan to my friends and family.

I went to this guy based on all the positive reviews I read on the internet. What a mistake. Dr. Nolan promised pain free sedation dental work...I'd go to sleep and when I woke up all the dental work would be done....sounded pretty appealing. You will pay top dollar for this luxury I might add...but if it worked I guess it would be worth it. He has a less than friendly manner, almost like its a bother to him if you ask a question. There was a real push about the money....they made sure they got paid 100% up front before any work was done. I went for the procedure...office staff was pleasant....I'm lead to the dental chair and given anesthesia to knock me out....I then wake up groggy, confused, feeling immense pressure of someone pulling at me. He hadn't given me enough anesthesia and I had woken up in the middle of him pulling my tooth out! Not pain free and not trauma free. He then gave me additional anesthesia to the point I had no additional memory until waking up in my bed with blood all over my pillow. When I went back to get the stitches out, I thought at the least he would apologize and explain how or why it happened...nope. He did however, give me a bill for $250 for the additional anesthesia.

No one likes to go to the dentist, at least I didn't 10 years ago. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 25 years and my teeth were a mess. I found myself keeping my mouth closed while I was smiling due to a gap in my front teeth and a chipped tooth and this was just my cosmetic problems. My first appointment I was told what could be done to correct my years of neglect. Dr. Nolan prescribed some medication to treat my gums, worked on cavities and proposed a plan of veneers to give me the smile I had been missing for so long. Dr. Nolan is a perfectionist and expects the same from his staff, this is all to the benefit of the patient. I could not be happier with my results and now make regular appointments for cleaning and checkups. I almost forgot to mention the pain, that's because during all of my treatments I did not experience any pain. The staff is constantly checking with you to keep you relaxed and informed of all of your treatments. I would highly recommend Dr. Nolan to anyone.

About Hygienist: Since I began seeing Dr. Nolan I have been going for regular cleanings. While I have improved on my brushing and flossing I am one of those people who get a lot of calciuim buildup. Dr. Nolan's hygienist, Danuta is very good at getting rid of my buildup, leaving me with clean, wonderful feeling teeth again without any pain. Danuta and the entire staff are extremely nice and well mannered.

If you are in need of a terrific dentist...look no further! Dr. Robert Nolan is a fantastic dentist. He truly caters to those who are "dental chickens". I should know - I am about as big a dental chicken as they come. However, when I walk into the office of Dr Nolan, I no longer panic - I know I'm in good hands. He really cares and takes the time to let you know. He also has an amazing office staff - they help make the process so much better too! My latest experience would have sent me and most into a frenzy. It was late on a Friday night and I had a molar literally break in half in my mouth. I was in terrible pain. After phoning his office and being referred to an after-hours number (that is actually answered by him LIVE), he offered to meet me at the office right then and there. I opted to come in the next morning and he came in on his day off to take care of my emergency. That's the kind of dentist he is! The procedure went very smoothly and he was so very understanding of my fears and really helped to make me feel as comfortable as humanly possible. Whether you are looking for someone who caters to dental chickens or just a great dentist, Dr. Robert Nolan is your man - He is awesome!

About Hygienist: Debbie Westby is an exceptional hygienist. She is extremely gentle, thorough and caring. She makes the experience painless and you walk out feeling like you have an entire new set of chops.

I had extensive dental work done under Dr. Nolan's sedation. I have to say the entire treatment was painless during and after my appointment. Dr. Nolan and his staff are friendly and helpful. I got the feeling that everyone, Paula and Debbie, as well as Dr. Nolan himself, really cared about me. I had been searching for a new dentist (mine had retired) and I am so glad I chose Dr. Nolan. I was surprised and delighted that he even gave me his cell phone number in case I had any questions or concerns. Dr. Nolan is truly a wonderful dentist and I highly recommend him.

I went to doctor Nolan because no other dentist could get me numb. It was hard to find a dentist that would IV sedate and did general dentistry and oral surgery(implants) so I would only need to be sedated once. The whole process was very simple and explained very well. He kept me updated on what was happening as I had a lot of work done in one day. He emailed and called me after to make sure I was okay. They are open every other Saturday which is very convenient when you don't want to miss work, I traved 40 minutes to this dentist and it was worth it.
