Dr. Darvishian completed her under graduate degree at The University of Virginia in 1997 under full academic scholarship. From there, she pursued her dental career by attending The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Doctor Darvishian, awarded Americas Top Dentists 2005-2006 by the Consumers Research Council of America, is continually educating herself with the latest techniques and approaches in order to offer you advanced, state of the art, comfortable, personalized care. She is a member of The American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, The Northern Virginia Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry.

July 13, 2021 - I came here 2 years ago to get a crown fixed, and the outcome was fantastic. A year ago Dr. Davishian and I discussed how to fix a gap that I have in my teeth due to a bad crown that resulted in a full tooth removal from 2015. (This was done in AZ and was not done by Dr. Davishian and her staff). Because I had the gap for several years, my teeth had shifted dramatically and I was having trouble chewing on one side of my mouth. To fix the teeth crowding issue, we decided to first straighten my teeth with the Invisalign, and then work to fill the gap. So about a year ago I started the Invisalign process. Now my teeth are straight so, after talking pros and cons, we decided to put a bridge in to fill the gap. Yesterday I was in their office and in one day, we were able to scan my teeth to build a bridge, printed it via a 3D printer (like what was done on my crown two years ago), and inserted it into my mouth. And as I was on the last tray of my Invisaligners, we were able to scan my mouth for the retainers I will need to wear now that all my teeth are in place. All in all, this took 4 hours to do. Overall my experience getting Invisalign with Perfect Smiles was a pleasant one. I completed my invisalign trays in approximately. Lots of office visits, several brackets fell off throughout the years so more office visits (luckily all visits were free after paying in full up front). I had a difficult case, so I’m not surprised it took a long time. We had to reorder new sets of trays twice. The positive was Dr. D said herself, “we will keep going until you are happy”.
The doctors are clinicians are very experienced and the outcome looks great. I would have appreciated to have the doctor show me the final result before we began instead of a video at the front desk. Also, I was very nervous about shaving my teeth to fit better in my mouth so did not like when they just did it without asking, but they turned out very pretty.

Had a great experience getting my Invisalign done with Perfect Smiles of Reston! Not only did I get a special price during a promotion, but my teeth look great and everyone was always friendly. Teeth whitening included at the end as well!

I found Dr D from her online reviews and let me tell you: the reviews are not lies. She is awesome! Her entire staff is awesome. I have been doing Invisalign for a little over a year, and she has honestly given me the confidence to smile with my teeth in pictures and just in general. On top of the actual orthodontic work, her office is a well-oiled machine. I would never have to wait beyond my set appointment time...never. I would always be taken in right at my appointment time. Appointment times were also flexible, and you would never have to wait forever for last-minute appointments. I would highly recommend Perfect Smiles of Reston and Dr D!
