The dental work I am having done is very routine, but this dentist has not been selective in choosing a lab, nor has her technique proven to be acceptable. After at least 6 attempts, I still do not have a permanent crown on one molar, and the temporary ones she has installed continue to fall out after 2 - 3 days. Another permanent crown, in front, fell out 3 times until I found another dentist who installed it correctly. She did refund my money and told me she would completely understand if I sought another dentist to make a permanent crown that would actually work; however, this does not repay the time I've had to take from work, the sheer discomfort involved, and the fact that it will be at least another 2 - 3 weeks before I can have another crown made. As a final insult, she insists on enforcing "office policy" and charging me to have my dental records reproduced for another dentist. Since she owns the practice, I found that to be quite insulting. When questioned, she simply walked away.
