We've gone twice a year for cleanings (me and my three boys). We've had small fillings done, I've had a crown and a couple tooth extractions. I need a bridge, but haven't been able to afford it yet. I would recommend Dr. Arnold in a heartbeat! When I first found him, I was looking for a small office, a situation like I had when I was a kid - NOT a doc-in-the-box dentist. Had tried one of those and it was a nightmare. Just don't like the huge office with multiple rooms where the dentists forget you're there or treat you like a cattle call. His office is perfect - Dr. Arnold and his secretary/receptionist Kim. Dr. Arnold does ALL the procedures from initial exam and cleaning to anything more involved. He stays current on new technology and procedures, but doesn't offer the use of nitrous-oxide (I hate the stuff and this was a deciding factor as some dentists really push it on you and I hate it!). He's the real deal, a very knowledgeable dentist and my kids have never been afraid to go, which says a LOT!

About Hygienist: Dr. Arnold does everything. Doesn't have a Hygienist. His cleanings take 45 minutes to an hour for adults (depending on tartar build-up) and about 30 minutes for kids. This includes Xrays. In all the years we've been going to him, we have NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes. He knows his schedule and stays on time. NEVER have had this with an medical professional. They are closed on Fridays... and prefer cash or checks. If you opt to use a credit card, they charge you the service charge the bank charges them - small office and it;s their way to keep down the overhead.

He really is great! Reminds me of what doctor's were probably like 40 years ago: personable, caring & professional. He is genuinely concerned for what you need or want. The secretary/nurse is great too!

This is a good place to be. Waiting time is next to zero. The dentist is with you the whole time, even in routine cleanings, unlike the other dentists with big egos whose hygenists do all the work leaving the doctor to come in, poke around for 60 seconds and leave, or try and sell you additional services. I have been to dentists in brand new, slick, "like-a-health-spa" offices before with special cameras, satellite music, etc, only to offset the costs by trying to sell you cosmetic dentistry that you really do not need, or even to the point of lying about cavities or fillings that need to be replaced. When I had doubts about that, I went to Dr. Arnold, who is no-frills and independent, investigated himself just to tell me all was fine and my fillings have no problems. I would recommend anyone who is disillusioned and wanting plain good old fashioned care to see Dr. Arnold.

Looking for a new dentist due to long distance from our old one, we decided on Dr. Arnold. Customer service was friendly, which is a plus, but facilities seemed old and small. Equipment and method used were also primitive to the extent we were surprised. A normal first visit with xrays and cleaning. This would work great for people preferring the ancient dental experience. Overall, a huge disappointment for us, and not recommended.
