very bad and won't go to him again. they don't know how to handle insurance claim. I was there for regular cleaning and they told me I have 3 cavities . I got real upset and told roya the hygienist why you didn't tell me when I came 4 months ago. she told me to chill out because it is in my file.

I will never go back. They were going to attach a crown and fill 2 cavities. It took 4 visits and $1200 to fix and I still can't floss without getting it stuck in my teeth (ON BOTH SIDES). This was the main reason I went for my visits and I expressed this as a concern as I need to floss to prevent further cavities. The dentists and the staff there had bad attitudes and considering the hours of time and thousands I have spent there this should not be the case. Take heed of the other bad reviews on here and avoid this dentist.
About Hygienist: The hygienists were generally nice but did not do their job properly. How hard is it to keep me from choking on my own saliva.

Getting an appointment with this office takes an act of Congress! There's is never availability and you have to keep calling back for weeks hoping for a cancellation.

I was a patient at Dr. Alayssami’s Vienna/Dunn Loring office. At every appointment they tried to sell me some expensive procedure that no other dentist I saw before or since ever even suggested. First it was adult braces. Then a deep cleaning. Then they insisted that my low gumline required a skin graft to restore my gums to the tune of $3,000 performed--of course--by their in-house periodontist. Other dentists either haven't mentioned my low gumline, or have just mentioned it as something to keep an eye on. If you visit Dr. Alayssami, I would recommend keeping an eye on your wallet.

The actual cleaning and facilities of this dentist are decent. The biggest problem I have with this dentists' office is that they will continually try to upsell you on all sorts of products and procedures that you don't need. I was recommended to have a skin graft for my gums that would have cost me thousands of dollars. I was suspicious of this, and after having switched dentists, found out their recommended procedure was completely unnecessary. I'd like my dentist to do a good job and recommend procedures that are beneficial to my oral hygeine without using scare tactics.

I am very satisfied with the care I have been receiving from Dr. Alaysammi. The doctor and the staff are efficient and well coordinated with minimal wait times. They are friendly and don't seem to rush you out the door.
Costs are quite reasonable with my Kaiser dental plan (checkups are free). They do seem to push regular "deep cleaning", which costs extra and no previous dentist suggested.
One outstanding feature of this 3-dentist office is multiple specialties. If a consult is needed, it can be done in the same visit, rather than a referral.
If I've got to go the dentist (and you do!), this is a good one to choose.
I have a residual fear of "the dentist" from previous experiences, but when I walk out of Dr. Alaysammi's office, I always wonder what I was so worried about.

We used the Dr Alayssami's Stafford office and it was a nightmare. The dentist come and go like a revolving door. We never saw the same dentist twice. We received different treatment reccomendations everytime we vistited. The only thing they excel at is billing....they find creative ways to get the most money out of each procedure. I would not refer this dentist to anyone I cared about.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctors are knowledgeable and have good chairside manner. I was very anxious when I started going to the dentist, but my visits have been pain free!
About Hygienist: The hygienist is very nice and through. My teeth have never felt cleaner.
