I learned to fear the dentist early on. Let's face it: drills are scary. How Dr. Hamidy managed to undo all my fears and issues with the dentist, to actually make me enjoy getting my teeth cleaned is really really impressive. But he did it. And I love going there. He's gentle, He's understanding, He provides great dental work. His entire staff is talkative and friendly. And Dr. Hamidy is very attentive and understanding to all my questions and concerns. Go see Dr. Hamidy.
About Front Desk: Super front office staff. Always greets me with an huge smile. Makes me feel welcomed and taken care of. Is super attentive to my busy schedule and tries to find the most convenient time for me.

I have been going to Dr. Hamidy for over 2 years now. His office is within walking distance from my home which makes my dental visits very comfortable and convenient for me. Dr. Hamidy is great in explaining oral hygiene techniques to achieve the best long term oral health. Thanks to the office staff, I am always reminded on my 6 months cleaning appointments. Their office is very technology savvy. You will receive email and text notifications as your appointment reminder. Several times, I even scheduled my cleaninng appoinmtents through email with the front office staff. Very comfortable and time saving. Great dental work.

Super friendly staff and relaxing office environment. I chipped off a small part of my enamel on my front tooth while eating. I had the urge to constantly run my tongue over that part although it did not hurt, it was really bothering me. It is always easy to schedule and the front office tries their best to find a time which is the most convenient for me. They are very flexible. Dr. Hamidy restored my tooth and it could not look better. I am very impressed. Good job.

I rarely write reviews, however Dr. Hamidy and his staff deserve the highest ratings. I know a good dentist when I find one. Its always a dauting task to choose the right dentist. I moved to San Diego a few years ago and I was in dire need of a dentist ( I had delayed too long on getting my cavities treated) I found La Jolla Dental Image online and decided to contact them. In retrospection, I must say that my choice could not have been better. His staff is super friendly and makes sure everthing was in order coming in. Dr. Hamidy is a superb dentist. I am really happy with the repair job he has done on my badly neglected teeth. He is friendly and basically makes you feel comortable and relaxed, when he is operating on your mouth.

Why you should definitely visit this office:
Super responsive-they pick up the phone and address your needs immediately. They were able to work around my busy schedule.
Technology savvy-they send email and text message reminder with (easy confirmation methods) regarding your upcoming appointments. They have a great state-of-the art equipment.
In and out- in my two visits I have been taken back as soon as I showed up and did not wait at all.
Staff-the staff is always super friendly and works hard to make sure that all patients are completely satisfied. They were always proffesional and caring.
Doctor-Dr. Hamidy is very knowledgeable and caring. He takes his time to get to know you before he starts with his exam. He listens and makes sure to explain every procedure.
I had the most gentle experience and will definitely recommend him to my family. Keep up the good work.

Never thought a trip to the Dentist could be so therapeutic.This place is by far the best Dentist I have been to. Dr. Hamidy takes enough time to explain the treatment before every procedure and gives me time to relax. You will never feel like they rushing you out the door. I have recommended my coworkers here who all feel the same way. If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the place. The whole staff is just sweet and helpful.

I no longer dread going to the Dentist. Seriously, Dr. Hamidy and his staff are absolutely amazing. Everyone at La Jolla dental Image makes it such a pleasurable experience.
I've had a couple of cleaning, cavities filled and a root canal. None of which were painful.
Dr. Hamidy is great - explains everything and is very concerned with your comfort. He is also a great person to talk to. He tells is like it is (without sounding like your Dad's dentist). Very kind and patient about my unreaonable dislike of the process.
We have all had our share of bad dentists, who seemed like they were just experimenting with our teeth, causing unnessary pain on some occasions and overlooking true problems on others. Dr. Hamidy is competent, identifies the issues (if there are any) and works quickly to fix them. Easy and simple. I already recommended him to my family and friends; they all were very satisfied with the treatment and service they received!!!

I love this Dentist. I have always been afraid to go to the Dentist after my horrible experiences as a child. But Dr. Hamidy really changed that experience. I have tried couple of other dental offices but he really convinced me. I got some fillings done as well as a cleaning and everything was SO painless. It was incredible
Later on, I came in for a wisdom teeth removal. I received an excellent service and felt like he really cared about my concerns and took time to answer my every single question. He is a caring Dentist and always explains in detail each procedure before he begins. After a few days I received a follow up call and was asked if I had any questions or concerns. They definitely make you feel special.
His staff is always friendly and caring. But most importantly, I am really relaxed and calm during all dental procedures and I am very satisfied about the results.
I found my Dentist and I would definitely refer him to everyone else. You should definitely try him, you will not regret it.

Every procedure that I had done at La Jolla Dental Image, I had to have RE-DONE by another dentist because it was not done properly. This includes a root canal, a crown, and the prep of a tooth for another crown. Needless to say, it has cost me far more than it should have to get my dental work completed satisfactorily. I was not satisfied with the lack of a treatment plan, or any of the results. Office staff was very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, that just isn't enough to keep a patient around. I would strongly encourage people who need more than just a cavity filled to use scrutiny when choosing their dentist.

i am really flabergasted that there are no reviews for Dr Hamidy. i must say that my visits to his office is painfree and quick. he gets the job done in the right accurate time with the most successful outcomes. i love it! i would DEFINATELY recommend him to everyone. his instruments and techniques are top of the line and modern. you leave the office learning something new. its awsome.
About Hygienist: the hygenist is sweet and freindly. she makes you feel like your part of the family. very heart warming. she really does a great job in her field. my teeth shiiiinee!
