Composite fillings, routine cleanings, one crown. All done well.

About Hygienist: Excellent (name is Tom). Good job, teeth feel clean, very little buildup between visits.

Horrible! Poor communication skills mixed with incompetence. She has one awesome male Tech, everyone else is painful, incompetent and indifferent. On my second visit I went in for a night guard, and a cleaning. The cleaning took an hour, the Hygienist was indifferent and was continually poking my gums with her sharp tools. The Fitting for the night guard was a night mare and included: The dental Tech using the wrong size tray Not getting any info about the mouthful of gunk that was coming The 10 minute follow up appointment turned into an hour of Dr. Pacleb grinding on the guard because the lab didn't get the right dimensions from them the first time. When she got tired of grinding she let her tech (who had obviously never done this before) grind away At the end of appointment 2 they still didn't have a guard that fit, she re-scheduled me for a third appointment after more lab work. She still couldn't get it right the third time so she canceled my appointment and wrote me a dear john letter about how our relationship wasn't working out!

About Hygienist: I went to her a year ago on a recommendation of a friend."Tom" was my Hygienist and he's awesome. He's a great cleaner, super friendly and hilarious. I worked with several other Hygienists during my nightmare 2 weeks with the office, they all sucked. Silent, rough on the gums, and SLOW. The tech jammed my mouth full of molding gunk without checking what size tray to use or explaining that I was about to get a mouth full at all. Her lead in to the procedure was "Open."

I've been going to Dr Pacleb since the practice was owned by Dr Pederson. Dr Pacleb is Wonderful! She replaced a less-than-perfect crown for free!

About Hygienist: very friendly and informative. One time i got a girl who was a little rough, otherwise it's been fairly painless.

Something is not quite right at this office any more- the staff is always changing- the office manager who was there for many, may years just left and this tells me that something has gone wrong. They are always changing my appointments, and the doctor is hardly ever there, and they keep wanting t o offer me off to some new associate dentist whenever i call for an appointment. The last time I saw her, it seemed like she was not interested in seeing me, like she was pre-occupied with other things-many interruptions in my appointment and it took forever. They are never on time, and her assistants seem to be not trained very well.

I have been visiting Dr. Pacleb for several years now and have been very happy with her attention to detail as well as the care she has for her patient. She tries very hard to make sure the right decisions are made. As for cost, my insurance company has a greater effect on that!

Ellen Pacleb took over the practice of a great Dentist which is how I found myself involved with someone who performs agressive dentistry. I am in the middle of a Grievance Report with my insurance company and wanted to warn people not to take their family there. She did not inform me of important facts of a procedure until it was done, left a big chunk of filling along my gum-line that I have to get another dentist to fix now, and the list goes on. It's upsetting when Dentists are not concerned for the dental life of a patient and more concerned with making a buck.
