Sad to say the service is not very good. We have been members for over 20 years. A few years ago my son had an abscess and they could not take him in. Now my daughter called back in April because one of her fillings came out. She spoke with Carole and she never got a call back. Now she is forced to see another dentist because they never called her back and shes been having bad toothaches. Very bad customer service in my opinion

In the 80's this guy was the bomb! When I moved back to HI I sought him out. Boy have things changed! His wife runs the front office & I had to call her 3 times to get a quote for work to be done. I had to ask if they wanted my business! They were expensive & I even received a bill for a copay of $25 for routine cleaning. I've never had to do that before, and I've not had to do it since. I called twice to pay the bill & both times she said, "I'm with a patient, can you call back?" Do they want their money?!? The parking area is horrendous & you have to pay for it to boot & no, they don't validate. Never got the work done, will never go back. Go see Jeffrey Miyazawa - like a spa & they're great!!!
About Front Desk: Friendly enough, but superficial. Didn't get the sense they cared that I sought them out after so many years.

Old school dentist. Not up to date with the dental equipment. I've seen a couple dentist in 6 years and I never was charged for being a no-show...until I became a patient of Dr. Fujinaka. Very disappointed and irrate.

I've been to Dr. Fujinaka's for routine check-ups only. It was nice family oriented atmosphere, there are friendly staffs. Relatively old equipments made me nervous for the first time, but I didn't have any problem with it. If you were previously visiting super high-tech dentist (like I was), you will be shocked a little. My friend's young kid had her cavity treatment without gas, and it was joyful experience, she said.
