My first visit with Dr. Minch was pleasant as he took the time to really diagnose my bite and any issues I might have with my teeth and gums. However, I was asked to pay up front because they are out of network for my BlueCross BlueShield Carefirst membership.
I put $378 on my credit card with the promise that they would submit my claim right away. However, the insurance company never even received the claim (I called to double-check two weeks later). I called Dr. Minch's office again and the secretary said she had called the insurance company, and they told her she'd given them the wrong group number. However, when I called to ask about this, they had no record of her calling and told me that the group number I'd given her was correct.
She resubmitted the claim and when I called two weeks later again, they still had no record of the claim.
I canceled my cleaning appointment and will be finding another dentist.

I was a smoker for many years - so my teeth were discolored and also, from grinding them, very very worn down. The veneers I got look fantastic, and the process was no where NEAR as annoying as I thought it was going to be! He isn't the cheapest dentist, but certainly it was worth the money spent. Very happy with my smile now, as is my husband.
