My family went to Dr. Theroux for a number of years. We began when she was with another practice and followed her to her own practice. In her own practice she became rude, unfriendly, and abrupt. Big change from how she was in the first practice. We stopped going to her due to this behavior. I had bonding performed that fell off 3 times. Finally she replaced it and I had to pay full price again.

About Front Desk: Front desk staff very unprofessional, uses foul language. loud, unprofessional laugh. money grubbing and all services were very expensive at this office.

About Hygienist: Good and bad hygienist. I was always moved around to different hygienist. Some did not clean my teeth very well.

Had two cleanings and one filling performed at this office. One cleaning was extremely painful. Second cleaning was better but took over an hour (all other dentist/offices have taken under 30 minutes for a cleaning). Filling resulted in a tooth that did not feel right, bite was off, material was left on the tooth that was removed during two subsequent appointments (cleaning and consultation for the discomfort).

About Front Desk: Rude, seemed more concerned about how they were being paid and what my insurance coverage. Never returned calls if they had to get information from 'someone else in the office'. Took over a month to get my records when I left after I had been told it would be a couple of days. Records were for less than a year that I was there, only 3 pages, never any answer as to how that could take over a month to produce.

Had two cleanings and two fillings. First cleaning, hygienist was so rough she couldn't polish my teeth. Dr Theroux didn't even tell me while I was in the chair about my cavities, I found out when I went to the front desk and they asked about an appt for the fillings. Fillings she did have caused my mouth to bite differently. Hard to get her time to look at the problem and when I finally did she said she could not see a problem or fix the issue without putting crowns on both teeth. there was also leftover filling material that had to be sanded off my teeth at the second cleaning. my opinion is that dr Theroux is a horrible communicator and has ruined my mouth and offers a solution that ends up with her getting paid twice to do the job right. Iwould not recommend this dentist or office to anyone!

About Front Desk: they told me one week to get my records and they would call me when they were ready. Three weeks later I called and they were not ready. my experience is that I couldn't trust what they said. Irene is condescending and rude, and not caring about a patients right to their records so that I could find proper care to address my mouth pain and headaches I've experienced since I received the fillings.
