Dr Sales her self was polite and when I asked questions they were answered. I found if you don't ask questions then you will leave with zero knowledge of your service.

About Front Desk: Called me multiple times trying to get me to reschedule for my appointment that was made a month in advance because of how "busy" they were. Zero respect!!!

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: Let me tell you, this was the absolute worse bedside manner I've ever experienced in my life. Didn't give me direction to which room we were going into. Played music from her phone!!! Didn't talk to me what so ever, I had no idea what she was doing at any time. She seriously was watching tv at one point and laughing at it, just sitting there right next to me watching tv instead of doing her job! Commented on how "bad" my teeth were nonstop, she just made me so uncomfortable I almost walked out multiple times!

Hygiene time: 90

Dr. Sales was referred by a family friend because we had recently moved to TX. Our family of 4 had cleanings before moving to TX. After scheduling appts for all 4 of us, we were given a $20,000 treatment plan for the entire family although we are covered under 2 insurance plans! We were all told that we had gum disease, periodontal disease, and needed a deep cleaning that insurance didn't pay for. Both my husband and I carry private insurance through our jobs. I was told that my toddler had surface cavities on all of her teeth. The dentist came to this conclusion by looking at her xrays, yet no subsequent appointment was made to take care of these cavities. My appt was for a regular cleaning. Instead of having a cleaning, it was recommended that I make an appt with the endodontist first. $2000 later, my toddler was the only one to have a cleaning. My son had a root canal and deep cleaning. My husband and I were both discouraged from seeking any additional preventative cleaning, although we never received any. The name of this dental office is perfect: SALES because that's all they do! This place demonstrated that money was the #1 priority instead of providing quality dental work!

About Hygienist: The dental hygienist sets up the sale instead of actually performing dental hygiene work. The front office staff are nothing more than medical billing people. They will squeeze every dollar from your insurance plan, then try to squeeze the rest out of you for unnecessary procedures.

I went in because I had a tooth bothering me. She said there was decay and I needed a root canal. When I went to the specialist to get the root canal, he said there was no decay, but I told him go ahead and do it. The specialist did a great job. However, I had to go back to Dr. Sales for the crown. I had to wait extra long because they had to make the crown twice. They didn't even ask what color I wanted it, and they didn't match it to my teeth so the first crown was very yellow compared to my real teeth. When I mentioned that, they tried to excuse it that it was a back tooth and no one will see the color difference. I told them to redo it to match. Then when she put it in, she was supposed to use temporary cement. She used permanent cement. And she did such a poor job of the fitting that it has aggravated the surrounding gums and resulted in a deep pocket. I had another dentist look at it and he said I have good hygiene, that it is only that one tooth, which looked like the problems were caused by food getting stuck under the crown. I had to have the other dentist redo it, and had to shell out another few hundred dollars for a new crown.
