Dr. Shank has been my dentist for several years. He maintains a state of the art dental practice and his work is phenomenal. Dr. Shank and his staff are professional, detail oriented, and approachable. I have had everything from dental cleaning to major dental work completed at Mountain View Dental Care and I have always been completely satisfied.

Dr. Shank is an amazing dentist and his team is incredible. I drive over an hour to get to his office and it is completely worth the drive. I only ever receive great care and I know that he and his team love what they do based on how they interact with patients. Dr. Shank is also very personable and so friendly, which helps ease any stress related to dental fears.

I came to Dr. Shank's office from a friend's referral and am so far more than pleased by my experiences. I get very nervous going to the dentist and everything from the decor to (especially) Dr. Shank and his staff put me more at ease and tamed my nerves. I rated the Pain, Stress, & Anxiety 3 out of 4, but it was more 3.5. I was burning through the anesthetic from intense nerves and how deep the decay had extended, but Dr. Shank and his assistant (I forgot her name unfortunately) were wonderful and did what they could to assuage my anxiety, and keep me comfortable. I was quickly helped when I arrived, and was able to get 3 fillings done in less than 2 hours, start to finish. The entire staff is professional, friendly, funny, and very well organized. Compared to my last dentist, going to this office really IS like a health spa. All my questions were answered, and I plan to continue to see Dr. Shank and the staff at Mountain View Dental for as long as their practice is open!

About Front Desk: Tammy is fantastic! She sent a pre-authorization to my insurance from the first visit and was able to give me a price for all of my fillings (5 in total), and the first exam. She is very helpful in scheduling and was able to answer a question I had forgotten to ask Dr. Shank. She has left voicemails to let me know about upcoming appointments and the result of my pre-authorization. When I had called before this most recent visit to confirm the appointment, she asked for my cell number so the system could send a confirmation text to remind me. If you provide an email, there is also an option to confirm the appointment online.

About Hygienist: From my first appointment, I enjoyed how thorough Kathy was in taking X-Rays to going through the cleaning and applying fluoride. A couple of my fillings from my old crab of a previous dentist had a few that were not smoothed out and were constantly tearing floss and catching extra particles. She was able to smooth those out and I no longer have any problems with them. A nice bonus was that smoothing was done complimentary. I was very impressed. The only reason my cleaning took the amount of time it did was because I was a new patient and they were doing a full workup.

I would highly recommend Dr. Shank. Dr. Shank is very attentive and genuinely cares about you. My son was playing baseball and was hit in the mouth With a baseball. Dr. Shank met us at his office on a late Saturaday afternoon with his family intow. He took gental care With my son to insure that the trama to his mouth would heal properly. Dr. Shank also personally took the extra step to contact the other Doctors needed for my son's Recovery from the trama to his mouth. We received exceptionial service by Dr. Shank. Above and beyond.. I would highly recommend Dr. Shank.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Shank. I have never had major dental work done before and was nervous, however Dr. Shank was very professional and took the time to explain the procedure. I felt like he truly cared about me as a patient and his work.

I had dental cleaning and examinations, as well as new crowns. Everything went very, very well. Dr. Shank is an excellent dentist, and is very good and explaining the procedures being undertaken, and the reasons for them. Considering the quality of the work, the price paid is worth every dollar.

About Hygienist: The hygienist was also very good: I didn't catcher her name at the time.

Simply the best. You will not find a better dentist. Whether it is simply cleaning, crown veneers, Dr. Shank is the most capable, friendly and knowledgeable dentist around. Worth a drive. He has his own insurance plan - check it out.

Dr. Shank is the best. He came in on a weekend to treat my fractured tooth

All I can say is WOW! Dr Shank is gentle, efficient, takes his time with injecting, but the best thing is he does fantastic work. He and his staff are supremely accomodating and the best I've been to in 40 years! I have had a ton of dental work and I can honestly say this office/dentist is definately worth changing to. Best of luck.
