I do not recommend this dentist for the following reasons. In June, a small portion of a molar filling fell out so I chose this dentist due to the proximity of his office and his ability to see me on short notice. Before the visit, I had no pain, and I simply needed the small portion to be refilled. During my visit, he made me believe that I needed to take out the entire old filling and replace it with an inlay. When asked if this was my only choice, he replied yes so I had the procedure done and was charged $365. There were 2 things wrong with this procedure though. 1) The only option he gave me was the most expensive option. By law, he was supposed to provide a complete list of filling options along with the costs, which he didnt do. 2) More importantly, he drilled too deep and came too close to the nerve. Ever since then, that tooth is very sensitive to cold, hot, and sweets. Now I can only use the left side of my mouth to eat. I was later referred me to an endodontist because the dentist thought a root canal was the only solution. I am very unhappy with Dr. Bui and Ucare dental. My teeth were healthy and without pain before. I will now end up with a root canal, extra expenses, and many days of pain and suffering.

Dr. Bui did my root canal and it was successful. There was no pain at all during the operation. He was very careful and took many x-rays to make sure everything was right. His clinic also has advanced equipment. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bui has hi-tech equipments in his office such as in-mouth cameras and crown-sculpting machines. I often go there because his office is in walking distance from where I work. My visits are usually very comfortable.
I had a root canal done here several weeks ago. However I still feel pain when I tap the tooth. Dr. Bui did not find anything wrong with the x-ray image but I have become doubtful of the quality of his work.

I was a patient of Dr Bui at a facility where he no longer works, so the cost and facilities ratings are not relevant.
Not being a dental professional I can only give my subjective comments. He is by far the most meticulous and competent destist I have encountered in the san diego area. I would highly recommend him.

I have been to Dr. Bui mostly for cleanings, whch he does very well.

It took 2 and 1/2 hours for a filling. The chairs are uncomfortable and the space is too wide open. I could see all 3 other patients being looked at. His employees are very rude and do not have any sort of customer service skill.
