I did not see Dr. Rubano but the assisting Dr. did not impress me at all. I suffer from an anxiety disorder treated with medication. Dental procedures may exacerbate the anxiety and I mentioned it to the attending Dr. as he was reviewing my x-ray results with me. He comes back with a statement about how he pops an Ambien when he gets nervous making a joke out of the statement..I did not find it funny. Eventually I get a print out for the supposedly needed work to be done on my teeth totaling $17,000+..Are you kidding me?

I would not recommend this dentist! I was told one price and charged a much higher price with no explaination and no detailed bill. I went in for a simple cleaning and was told I had gum disease and needed $1000 more of cleaning! This is a terrible office and they are trying to up-sell for your whole appointment, from tooth paste to tooth brush and gum:(
About Hygienist: Te hygienist was very nice but told to tell me my teeth were far worse than they were.

Worst experience ever. I would not go there again or recommend her to anyone. I went there and was told one thing, but charged another price. Then when I questioned, I got a run around, very unprofessional...save your money and find a good dentist

• Dear Dr Rubano, would like to express my utmost dissatisfaction with your practices and your staff. First of all, when i was a patient initially, i was told there was an offer for a reduced initial vistit. Apparently this is not true if your there for anything in addition to a cleaning and xrays. I stayed. While in the chair I was handed an estimate for nearly $3,000, and then I was told by someone else in your office moments later that u guys are just trying to make the most money you can and advised me to do only 1/4th of the prescribed work. While there, one of your dentists began to attempt a repair a broken front tooth. The dentist repaired the tooth but it was the wrong shade. She then began to tell me it would be an extra charge to put on a new one. I was nice about it and she replaced it begrudgingly. It was better, but after a number of people asking me about the tooth you (fixed), I decided to make another appt to have the tooth looked at. However, I had to call and reschedule my appt due to my 2 month old baby coming down with a fever. I was then told that I would be charged a cancellation fee of $50.00. So I asked if I could reschedule for later on in the day and was told there were no open appts. I have to say, after being treated like this and being told (by your own staff) that you;re just trying to make as much money as possible, I don’t believe I will be returning to your offices.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! She did a one visit root canal and crown on a molar which she had to use her drill to make it big enough to fit. She should have never used an acrlyic crown on this tooth to begin with. Needless to say, I lost the tooth. Just today, I spent the morning in my new dentist office having another tooth she filled redone. When I was in her office I always had to WAIT and she always seemed to be in a hurry to get to one other chairs. I felt like her office has a revolving door and DOES NOT focus on you during your visit. Also, she is the first dentist that ever made me sign off on a waiver of liability!!! NEVER HAD TO DO THAT IN ANY OTHER DENTIST OFFICE...EVER!!!!
