Took my daughter there for an emergency. Her front tooth had fallen out (had previous root canal in the tooth by another dentist) and she was embarassed to go out of the house. She also suffers from depressiona and anxiety and has mitro valve prolapse which all together gives her an overwhelming fear of dental procedures. She was able to be seen immediately, was counseled by Dr. Karas and different staff members and after three hours went home with a temporary partial. While his office accepts her dental insurance and other payment options, he didn't charge her anything for this visit! Hard to believe, but it's absolutely true! She will be following up with Dr. Karas for the rest of her dental work which is going to be extensive. But I can't imagine a more caring and gentle dentist. Wish I had known him years ago when I spent thousands on my own teeth. He was recommended by several of my co-workers who all had similar experiences - all positive.
About Hygienist: Maurice was gentle, great sense of humor and explained everything ahead of time. Ernie, the artist who makes the temporary teeth, stayed after his usual quitting time to make this "flipper" for her. It fits perfectly and will help her get through the holidays until the permanent teeth are ready.

Dr. Karas is a very calming, caring dentist. His office staff are extremely efficient. He is a bit expensive after calling around to the other dentists in the area.

This office is the most pleasant I've been to. It looks welcoming like a house and is as comfortable as a dentist office could possibly be. Dr. Karas worked on my braces and gave me a perfect smile! He explains procedures and tells you exactly what to expect. He's the best dentist I've ever been to.
