I really like Dr. Eskeland's "chair-side" manner. He's very friendly and makes me feel at ease (not an easy task because I have always had a strong aversion to dental work.). However, I've been a bit disappointed by the work that he's done. He missed one small filling in the a lower, front tooth that I had to point out to him. Also, he did a large filling in one of my back molars that just doesn't feel right. I'm going to go back to a different doctor to have it looked at. I'm sorry to say that I don't have enough confidence to go back to him because he really seems like a great guy!

BEWARE this dental group's billing office! Regents is supposedly a "preferred provider" under my insurance plan, and they contacted the plan to preauthorize all work. However, my plan reimbursed less than they said they would, so I kept getting bills even after paying "in full" at the end of each visit. My insurance company told me that Regents did not code the bills correctly, hence they were not fully reimbursed. Regents responded that the list of charges I was given prior to treatment was an "estimate" and that anything they did not collect from my insurance company on the first billing was simply my responsibility. They were not willing to double check their invoices or resubmit the charges (which my medical doctor's office does ALL the time). In fact, they sent two of my bills to their (awful) collection agency without even returning my calls about the unexpected charges! These were small bills, nickles and dimes against the hundreds I'd already paid them. Any other doctor I know would simply write off these small differences. Not these guys! Oh, and they run WAY behind schedule - plan on spending an eternity in their waiting room. Better yet, AVOID THIS GROUP!

Dr. Eskeland is very good, but he seems to take on too many patients at once and will easily pawn you off onto someone else in his office if he's too busy. Also, if he's trying to work on you and, something isn't working out the way he'd like, he gets pretty angry. Otherwise, it's a great office with nice people, who explain things like bills and procedures carefully. Dr. Eskeland is well-trained and friendly, I have been with him only about two years but I'll stick with him for as long as I can! Oh, in case you do get pawned off...don't worry, the other dentist is really good as well.
