Avoid him . Horrible treatment everything always has to be redone. Crowns don't fit properly, good dentists seem to be far and few between.

Poor. His inexperience showed. It took him a full hour to replace two small fillings. Before his dental work, the two fillings/teeth had never bothered me. In the six weeks since, I've have severe pain and upon visiting another dentist learned that Dr. Bold may have killed the nerves in those two formerly perfectly healthy teeth.

It had been over 8 years since going to the Dentist. They treated me like I had been going there all of my life. The entire staff cares about what they are doing.
They where helpful in every manner including helping me with insurance.

I was one of those people who hadn't been to the Dentist for almost 6 years after having a horrible dental experience. An unexpected toothache forced me to randomly select a dentist in my area which was the La Jolla Dental Group. Aside from the fact that their pricing for dental work was outrageous, their facility was ditry, their equipment was shoddy, and their staff members were rude.
I decided to get a second opinion on the major dental work they were claiming I needed, which led me to Dr. Bold's office. I called his office on a Friday afternon to book the earliest appointment he had available. Out of concern for my situation, they stayed open past normal business hours to get me in later that same day. Dr. Bold and his staff made me feel as if I had been a patient of theirs for years. Their constant compassion and responsiveness shows that they truly care about their patients. Needless to say, I have finally found a Dentist that I love!! I am no longer afraid to go to the Dentist and would recommend him to any friend or family member of mine.

Dr. Bold is very friendly!! Highly Recommended!!! He is very understandable and explains everything! I liked the way he told jokes to calm me down and how he jokes around with his assistant!

Dr. Bold is far and away the best dentist in Southern California. I had extensive work down on my teeth and I have been extremely satisified with the work he did. The other dentists who have worked on my teeth have not shown the level of expertise that Dr. Bold has. His prices are very reasonable and the staff and facilities are excellent. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking.
