I had a root canal treatment with Dr Matosian done almost 20 years ago and never had any issues. He was also very friendly and made my overall experience great. I had another root canal performed by another dentist over 2 years ago and now I started to fill a lot of pain, I'm seriously consider to go back with Matosian to see if he can fix whatever was done wrong. Even though their prices are high, for serious treatment is worth the price, specially when you get good quality and piece of mind

Amazing dentist. He fixed a bad set if implants I had from previous dentist. He is a perfectionist and After George did my replacements he called me in a few times to adjust the colors fit etc. The subtle change he did werent noticible to me but igoing guess thats why I haven't had a single issue in overa 12 years.

20+ fillings with zero issues to date, excellent chair-side manner, very professional, friendly, and willing to educate his patients. He is an adjunct professor at USC Dental School and he stays current academically and professionally. Great hygienists and friendly, helpful staff. Clean, pleasant office. He is the only dentist I have ever recommended to family and friends.

About Hygienist: All hygienists here have been superior. Gentle, thorough, pleasant.

Dr Matosian (George) is an exceptional dentist. Very knowledgable, skilled, personable, caring and pragmatic with a soft touch. George did my front dental implant. Its nuance matches my other front teeth so well that my father, a dentist, and my sister a dental hygienist, could not tell which tooth was the replaced tooth. My wife and two college age sons have also gone to Dr. Matosian for cavities, a cyst in the mouth and other of life's dental needs. They all recommend him hightly. BTW: Dr Varboncour, an oral surgeon in a separate office below Dr Matosian's is also exceptional.

About Hygienist: Connie, one of Dr. Matosian's hygienists, is the best hygienist I have ever had. I had slight gingivitus for many years that I could not get rid of. With Connies knowledgable and involved help I got rid of the gigivitus. You will find no better. I moved out of state, so if you see her tell her Loren say's hi.

You can not go wrong with Dr. Matosian (George). At one point he may have stopped taking pts but check anyway. Dr. Matosian is exceptionally knowledgable, presents at dental conventions, but is down to earth and pragmatic. He has a soft touch, is personable and caring, but most importantly he is very good. He did my front dental implant. My father, a dentist, and my sister, a dental hygienist, could not tell which tooth was the replacement. It matched my other teeth that well with nuance that made it look real. My wife and two grown sons highly recommend Dr. Matosian also. BTW Dr. Varbencour (sp?) an oral surgeon in another office below Matosians is very good.

About Hygienist: Connie, one of Dr. Matosian's hygienist's, is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. I had slight gingivitis that I had not been able to get rid of for years. Connie worked with me as no other and I got rid of it. I have moved out of state and will miss her expertise greatly. If you see her let her know Loren says hi.

Highly recommended on all accounts. Hopefully for those of you looking he is taking new patients as his patient base is very loyal. His office takes care of our family of 4. The oral surgery group below did my frontal implant but Dr. Matosian did the actual tooth. No one has been able to tell including my father (retired dentist in N CA and sister Dental Hygienist in TX). We have been going to Dr. Matosian for 7 plus years and were just lucky to have been referred to him by the oral surgeon. He is personable, detailed, professional and a leader in his field (presents at dental conventions).

Dr. Matosian is absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. He is intelligent, an experienced technician, who takes great pride in his work and is meticulous as he attends to detail. My whole family has transferred to him. He has corrected years worth of lousy dental work. I would come from out of town, if necessary, to remain in his care. His whole office staff is pleasant. His office is easy to get to. It's right by Grossmont Center.

I have never been to a more competent and personable dentist. He is rehabilitating my whole mouth (multiple caries on every tooth, one crown, cleaning and whitening) and has already taken me from being very nervous to nearly stress-free about dental treatment. He explains what he's doing at each step of the procedure, is very gentle, thorough and quality-oriented. Plus he guest lectures at USC's dentistry school. He has referral arrangements with some of the best endodontists in the area as well... I have yet to see how good the gum specialist is, since I'm going to get gum grafts after he's done with all his work. His hygienists are fantastic, especially Lori and Judy, and his wife is great at the front desk. His office is hung with GORGEOUS paintings of Mexico done by his brother, I believe. I'm paying cash for my work and think it's a great deal given the level of professionalism and amazing quality of care I'm receiving. He puts all the other dentists I've had to shame... he makes them look like sorry-ass slacker students. Seriously. He's very popular and booked up for months, so good luck getting in if you're a new patient.
