I would not recommend Dr. Hargas. After moving to the area, I needed a new dentist. My husband went to Dr. Hargas and liked the hygienist. I have always had good dental care and insurance. Dr. Hargas is very personable and creates a feeling of confidence. Within a month, I had two crowns, one requiring a root canal. These were on teeth that my former dentist did not see any issues. One of the crowns did not feel like it fit from the beginning. Chewing was more of a sliding motion and I was in constant pain. After Dr. Hargas adjusted it without success, it hurt more. I never had jaw pain before. An associate he had coming in one day a week was able to trim the teeth and adjust the bite in a series of appointments which eliminated most of the problem, but the crown still doesn't connect with the tooth below it. After thinking about the care I received at this office in comparison with my previous dentists, I definitely feel that this office is geared to make money, not to provide the least care necessary to maintain good dental health. However, I did appreciate the associate working with me and using her advanced technology to adjust the bite.

He's a little rough but is constantly checking to make sure the patient is comfortable. The price tag for the procedures is a little steep as well but well worth it. The customer service is absolutely wonderful; as soon as the patient walks through the door, everyone greets the patient by name. I would recommend Dr. Hargas to anyone.
About Hygienist: Edward is absolutely wonderful! He is very gentle and is extremely careful. He too checks constantly to make sure the patient is comfortable. Edward is very thorough at explaining exactly what the procedure is and why the procedure must be done. He also gives the patient a number of treatment options depending on what he or she wants to spend out of pocket.

I put my trust in Dr. Hargas, He lied, did a horrible job on my veneers and will not honor his work. I spent over $8,000 on veneers. Dr. Hargas and his staff just pushed me through his system. He made all of my choices like, making my teeth GREY later to explain that he was "saving me from white teeth" My veneers are so huge my back teeth don't touch, my jaw dislocates for me to chew food. All of my veneers need to be redone, all of my back top teeth need to be made longer, and I'm going in for jaw surgery next January. All the veneers are grey, crooked and all of the margins are dark brown. He should be ashamed of his sub-standard work and for not having the Integrity to resolve the problrms. I wouldn't recommend this Dentist to anyone.
