Dr. Jason Brown is an excellent dentist. Great work, great chair side manor, great staff. Willing to listen and clearly explains what needs to be done now, and what can wait. This was very helpful when getting a lot of work done and I wanted to spread it out to stay under my insurance cap. His work is excellent and his prices reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brown, and have done so to many people I know.

Dr. Brown is a really good dentist. I feel like he has done an outstanding job on my teeth. His office is pretty relaxed. If you are curious about the work he is doing, he can use a camera so you can watch him work. He explained all my areas for concern in simple English. If you are a little worried about your dental work, he has some TVs close to you, so you can watch a movie while he works.
Proximity to Horton Plaza means parking is free, if your procedure is done under 3 hours. The voting is rigged, his work is extremely cheap for me because I have insurance. Will not allow me to say extremely cheap because the facilities are "spa-like."
About Hygienist: Hygienist was good, she did a cleaning really quick and made it easy.

Dr. Brownis my fourth dentist in San Diego and he will be my last!
I've been looking for someone I can trust, who doesn't mind explaining things, who doesn't constantly recommend cosmetic procedures, where the staff is friendly and the location is convenient (see my other dentist reviews if you want to know who to avoid).
Dr.Brown office meets every one of these requirements!!!
My last doctor (the one I liked best of the first 3) told me I needed 3+ more fillings, a crown and possibly a root canal. Dr. Brown assured me that I need an inlay and that's it!
One of my favorite things about my visit was this: I asked Dr.Brown if there could be any legitimate reason why other doctors would tell me I needed more work -a thinly veiled invitation to criticize his peers- but he didn't take the bait! He said simply "perhaps they are newer docs with less experience".
Then he said something else I loved (I wish I could remember his words). Basically, he said something that suggested we could deal with things as they arose but that in his experience, many things just don't progress quickly so why drill prematurely.

Dr Brown makes you feel very comfrotable when he tells you what is going to be doen and then doing it.

I find Dr. Brown to be a great dentist, who genuinely cared about me as a patient and was the first dentist I've been to who asked if I was happy with my smile. I've had many fillings and dental work and was happy with how Dr. Brown treated me. I got Invisalign braces through him and have been so pleased with the results and am so glad he recommended it to me!

Great Staff, Friendly Dentist, a little bit of rotation in Dental Assistant, but that may be the nature of the business.

Went into Dr. Brown after not going to a dentist in years. Had a bunch of cavities that is gonna cost a pretty penny. So far I liked the service and plan to get my cavities filled by him.

I just moved and was horrified that I had to find a new dentist. Dr. Brown was thorough, patient, answered all my questions, and had arranged for my teeth to be cleaned at the first exam, for which I was profoundly grateful. Shannon was wonderful. When he got my records from my previous dentist, he gave me a personal phone call to discuss my records and discuss treatment. All in all, he's been good so far.
