My son had a root canal done there 6 years ago, and it has been nothing but trouble. Dr. Nguyen talked us out of going out of the country to get the dental service, but now I wish we had. The very expensive crown does not fit (never did, accroding to 2 dentists) and the root canal was improperly done, resulting in a fracture. Now my son has an infection and Dr, Nguyen is denying any responsibility, despite x-rays from another dentist as proof.

The building itself isn't very sophisticated. The location is kind of hidden in on a strip of shops. The interior is nothing special, but the front desk ladies were really sweet and friendly. I had a couple of fillings that Dr. Nguyen did about 2 years ago. I just recently got my teeth checked by another dentist and I was told all of my old fillings were already cracking.
About Hygienist: She definitely was not gentle and was almost borderline rude with her comments. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while so my teeth needed alot of cleaning. It was painful and uncomfortable the entire time, which I understand but she didn't have to be rude.

One month after doing bonding to front teeth, the bonding came off the right canine. Two weeks later, the bonding on an incisor was loose.
All teeth she worked on are sensitive. I have difficulty flossing around teeth she worked on.
She put a filling in a crown that was causing no pain or sensitivity.
The office is not clean. The assistant does not know how to operate the suction device properly. The dentist had blood on her mask--both times.
If it had not been for a recommendation from my insurance company, I never would have gone to her. I cannot warn enough people about the poor quality service available at Smile Dental.
