I've been going to Dr. Tourian for my dental work since my dentist retired and I had many cracked teeth from grinding them (stress, caffiene, who knows). Dr. Tourian made a treatment plan for me and also set me up with a night guard that I can wear when I sleep to protect my new crowns. She also did at least 2 or three root canals, which worked out real well. For one root canal that she felt would be difficult for me, she referred me to a specialist who also did a great job. For the cost, I marked extremely cheap, but what I meant is that her office directed me to some Dental Plans that practically cut the cost of my dental work in half! She is very caring and focused. Truthfully, I admit I am a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist and Dr. Tourian really put me at ease. I have moved in the past year out to East County, but wouldn't even think of changing dentists. I'll make the longer drive. I recommend Dr. Tourian.
This site would not let me mark 'like a health spa' and 'extremely cheap'. So I knocked the rating down a notch on facilities. They're right, though, there isn't a jaccuzi or masseuse. Darn.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified.......Dr. Castle was gone and here was this new dentist. A stranger. I was very nervous. But, after a few visits, I became much more comfortable and have now come to trust her and her staff. They suggested I get some kind of Dental Plan to help cover expenses and were very patient in showing me what treatment I needed to keep my teeth and gums healthy. We worked out a plan together on what work should be done first and we scheduled the visits so that it was easy and convenient to come in. Dr. Tourian is very patient and careful not to 'freak me out'. Seriously, I have always been afraid to go to the dentist, although I go anyway, but I am not as anxious as I used to be. I still miss Dr. Castle, in case she reads this, but she found herself an excellent successor.
