I went to Dr. Jitsumyo for a root canal...I was very nervous..and she was very sweet and tolerate of my dental anxiety...my tooth was sensitive to heat and cold, but did not hurt...she told me I needed a root canal which I agreed to. Within several days of my root canal a new pain began...I could not even touch my tooth the pain was quite bad (actually a front tooth) I was referred to an oral surgeon and he says it could be fractured and I will need an implant...the process is grueling, I need to be given general anesthesia, and the cost for everything will run more than 7000.00 I am in shock....and very upset about this...I truly believe she fractured my tooth while performing the root canal. I'm certain I did not have a fracture before. 95% of these procedures work....I'm in the 5% that didn't work...so I have to put the blame on the endodontist...she was very kind...but I am looking at 1000s of dollars and hours and hours of dental work now...not to mention the loss of a front tooth...This experience has caused me so much anxiety..and I am just at the beginning...I have oral surgery and an implant to look forward to.

Not only is Dr. Jitsumyo skilled and able in her area of expertise, but she is by far the best care professional I have been to in my adulthood.
She is knowledgable and precise in her work, and her sensitivity and soft touch made my first root canal almost as easy as a cleaning- I felt 100% well and pain free upon walking out of the office. Icing on the cake; her staff is efficient and considerate, and her work is holding up perfectly over the long run. Highly recommended.

I didn't feel anything. Dr. Jitsumyo was very kind and made a horrendous root canal as simple as a normal filling. The procedure took about an hour and a half, though it didn''t seem that long. The only problems I had were that her place is kind of hard to find and that so many people go to the office for her work that sometimes it may be hard to find a convenient appointment time. But overall, its worth it, so try to get your appointment time in now.
