I went to Dr. Jitsumyo for a root canal...I was very nervous..and she was very sweet and tolerate of my dental anxiety...my tooth was sensitive to heat and cold, but did not hurt...she told me I needed a root canal which I agreed to. Within several days of my root canal a new pain began...I could not even touch my tooth the pain was quite bad (actually a front tooth) I was referred to an oral surgeon and he says it could be fractured and I will need an implant...the process is grueling, I need to be given general anesthesia, and the cost for everything will run more than 7000.00 I am in shock....and very upset about this...I truly believe she fractured my tooth while performing the root canal. I'm certain I did not have a fracture before. 95% of these procedures work....I'm in the 5% that didn't work...so I have to put the blame on the endodontist...she was very kind...but I am looking at 1000s of dollars and hours and hours of dental work now...not to mention the loss of a front tooth...This experience has caused me so much anxiety..and I am just at the beginning...I have oral surgery and an implant to look forward to.
