Dr. Lauren Standefer and staff were absolutely amazing. Broke a tooth earlier this week and needed to have a crown. Due to the location of the molar and the additional molar that had old silver fillings from many years ago, Dr. Standefer replaced them both. Not sure if many people can say they love to go to the dentist, but this visit was extraordinary. I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed despite knowing that drilling was at hand. I thank Phil Collins too for his Face Value CD to help comfort me too. :)

I am from out of town and had a tooth chip, was very apprehensive about going to a dentist here but Dr. Standefer was amazing as was the entire staff. I highly recommend them. The procedures and costs were clearly explained before an option was chosen. I have a fear of dentists and this experience was wonderful, they put my mind at ease and was very gentle and considerate in caring for me. I was so impressed, I just had to do a posting.

I arranged for my boyfriend to visit this dentist when he developed a toothache that couldn't be ignored. Due to injuries that have damaged his jaw and teeth, he had previously been told his only option was to have all of his teeth pulled. That this was daunting, as well as going to be a very painful and expensive process, because he was told he would lose his teeth and because he had never experienced a GOOD dentist, he'd been completely neglecting dental visits for a few years. When I contacted Dr. Standefer's office and explained the situation, the staff was extremely pleasant and made sure he got in the same day. He received excellent care from Dr. Standefer AND was told that his teeth would most likely all be saved with some extensive deep cleaning.
Prices are reasonable and the office was willing to work with us regarding payments on an extensive treatment plan. The office itself is clean, modern and comfotable, the staff are extremely pleasant, and Dr. Standefer is wonderful.
With Dr. Standefer, and this practice in general (Dr. Melissa Scaggs, Dr. James Wallace [retired]), you will feel extremely well-cared for, valued as a patient for and that your dental health is TRULY the Dr. Standefer's prime objectiv
