"Dr. T" has performed one extraction (#2 in 08/2007) and installed one fixed bridge (#13-15 in 03/2004) since I've been his patient. I recommend him highly. PROS: -- He works faster than H-E-double-hockey-sticks, and that's a real plus in the stress department. Procedures resulted in very little bleeding, no post-surgical complications and very little pain. He's quite good at aiming the anesthesia needle, but if he's missed something and it hurts a bit, he's more than patient enough to give another shot and wait for it to kick in. -- Insurance help from this office's front desk has been top-notch, which is more than I can say for a lot of dental practices hereabouts. Hygienist is also first-rate. That's important in this practice: AFD's dentists don't spend a lot of time with patients, but the hygienists will take as much time as necessary to discuss your care, and will get an answer on the spot if they're not sure. CONS: -- Dr. Toriggino talks as fast as he works, so his explanations will fly right over your head if you're not ready to hear them. I'm from back East, so I'm quite used to fast talkers. But this might bother other patients. -- AFD is an expensive practice. Get dental insurance if you like these guys.

Went in to have a cavity drilled with the possiblity of having a root canal. Before I know whats going on the assisant is handing the doctor a temporary crowm and asked did he think this would fit. After the procedure the office assistant for the first time starts to explain to me the cost involved. Long story short they have over charged me and have done procedures that I never approved or was consulted on.
