First went to see Joel when he hung out his "plaque" on Canyon Blvd. in 1973...I'm devastated by his recent passing but will continue to go to his office and hope the excellent staff and Dr. Dave continue his amazing dental care. Joel was first-class guy and I and my family will miss him. Dave H. (BoulderFolkie)

I've had mostly routine work done at Dr. Schaffer - cleanings and a few minor fillings, and I am always impressed by the staff's friendliness, professionalism and expertise. The hygenist always takes time to explain to me what areas I could improve brushing in, and any time there is a problem with a tooth, they show you a picture on the monitor and explain exactly what they're talking about. I highly recommend this dentist!
