Dr Rowan did full x-rays, dental exam, and complete cleaning. He was extremely knowledgable and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He was easygoing, outgoing, and very good at doing his job. His costs are very reasonable compared to other dentists I have gone to in the past. His office was a clean and friendly place with a knowledgable staff. I would recommend him to anyone! I have gone back twice and had a filling done as well and have had no problems and am extremely happy with the results.

I know this doctor: 1 year

I had very bad experience with him. It was the first time I see him. He decided on tooth extraction. He never explained what he is going to do and the procedure was very painful and he never showed any feelings about the the I was suffering. It was a bad experience and I will never go to see him again

I was pleased with my dental work after seeing Dr. Rowan. He made getting numb easier, and he was very helpful in my trouble with keeping my mouth open. Frequently he asked me if I would like something to bite on to help me not stress my muscles. He also frequently let me take small rests during the process. I recommend going to this office and seeing him! Prices are also fairly low considering how much this stuff usually costs.

Dr. Mathew Rowan is nice and seems intelligent. The office is pretty rushed. I had mouth pain in September 05 and he took xrays and did deep cleaning on the top teeth and gave me tetracycline. It seemed to help. But a month later the pain came back with a vengence. On a Friday in early November, he took another xray and said that it was an absess in my back lower tooth. He said I would need to have a root canal and it was "going to be one of the hardest root canals" He continued with the scheduled deep cleaning of the bottom teeth. He prescribed me penecilin and vivaden. I cried during the procedure because he did not have any pain medication besides numbing. My mouth was so sore that I could barely open it. After the procedure, my jaw has gotten really swollen, it hurts to swallow and of course I can't chew anything. I have been in more pain then before 9/10 and the dentist on call did not return my call over the weekend. It is Sunday afternoon and I have called in sick for tomorrow because I am still in 9/10 pain. I called another Comfort Dental Office and the doctor on call said that the penecillin takes 48 hours to start to work. So I decided to go on line to see what else in available.

I don't recommand people to go to this dental office. The staffs are so rude and they usually misplaced your record. My brother and I have our names similar. They even sent my brother record to the doctor and treated my teeth as his. Those staffs are very unorganized. On the other hand, I don't really feel comfortable with this doctor because he always deal with three to five patients in the same time. Most patients complained about lack of care. Even my friends, my sister in law, and my brother said so too. Thus, we all changed to some other dentists who treating us much more better these years and we are experiencing much more friendly staffs than before.
