I had a cavity filled by Dr. Hayashi recently and it was the most pleasant dental procedure I've ever had. Dr. Hayashi made sure that I understood what was going on throughout the procedure, which not all dentists do. She also used several comfort-enhancing techniques and tools that I've never seen before and it certainly made the experience more pleasant. She also takes the time to educate patients about toothcare, so I actually have been taking better care of my teeth since I started going to her. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I recently had the most pleasant cavity filling ever. Dr. Hayashi made sure I knew exactly what was going on during the procedure and she was constantly attentive to my comfort level. She used a lot of new comfort-enhancing tools and techniques that I've never seen before, and which made the experience so much more bearable than a typical cavity filling. Dr. Hayashi is extremely pleasant and takes time to educate patients about toothcare. I would highly her to anyone.

Dr Hayashi is a wonderful dentist. I don't even mind going to the dentist!! She does excellent work and she cares.

About Front Desk: Very nice staff! They always greet you when you come in. They are very helpful with the insurance, I appreciate that.

About Hygienist: The hygienists are great! I can actually relax in the chair. They are very thorough, but gentle.

Dr. Hayashi is a wonderful dentist. I recommend her to all my friends who are looking for a dentist on Oahu. She is thorough and detail-oriented, she takes time to genuinely find out about you and your life, and she is kind and generous! Six months ago, I invested in a mouthguard to protect my teeth from grinding while I sleep (this is a big investment). Unfortunately, I ground through my mouthguard and cracked it in only 6 months. Dr. Hayashi generously offered to make me a brand new one to replace it and gave it to me free of charge!!! She also allowed me to pay her in installments when I had a cavity filled that was not covered by insurance. I would recommend Dr. Hayashi to everyone--she'll take care of your teeth and make you walk out with a smile. (BTW: Dr. Oogle won't let me rate her as 4 stars for both extremely cheap and like a health spa, even though it is very comfortable and clean, and the cost was extremely cheap--Free! so I had to rate the facilities as 3 stars, even though I wanted to put 4.)

Had 6 fillings redone over a 6 month period. Dr. Hayashi found several "leaky composite" fillings that my previous dentist never told me about and showed me photos of them on a computer screen! She educated me about my filling options, allowed me to choose the one that best fit my needs (no metal), and changed out my fillings in a manner that minimized pain. She also massaged my neck/jaw after the treatments! State of the art dental facility with wonderful personalized service. Recommend Dr. Hayashi to anyone looking for a better dentist who really cares about you as a patience!

Dr. Hayashi is very good at explaining procedures. She is very attentive to basic comfort (ie moisturizer lips, chair position, scent of exam gloves etc) as well as the effect of her anasthetics during procedures. The appointments are always on time

About Front Desk: Very attentive. They address me right when I walk in instead of talking to each other and making me wait

About Hygienist: The hygienist over the past 5 years has been excellent. Thorough, but not painful

I have been a patient of Dr. Hayashi's for years now and have always been extremely happy, and impressed, with her level of service, expertise, and genuine interest in her patients' well-being. Dr. Hayashi is clearly intelligent and well-versed in her field, and I know through experience as her patient that she continues to push herself to remain at the forefront of new technology and approaches. I was not born with exceptional teeth that remain perfect through regular maintenance. As a result, I have always appreciated how there is no gray area when it comes to being informed by Dr. Hayashi what the current status of my teeth are, and the available options. She takes the time to let me know what the problem area is, what possible remedies are available, and what her recommendation would be for my overall well-being. After years of receiving excellent service, I can say without a doubt that Dr. Hayashi does not compromise in the quality of care she strives to maintain. Not only is she a fantastic dentist, she is very down to earth and quite frankly, a great person. Her assistants, among them, Jan, are also superb! I would recommend Dr. Hayashi to anyone and everyone.

About Front Desk: Dr. Hayashi's front desk staff, Sampa, Linda, and Heather, have always done a great job maintaining the level of quality and professionalism extended everywhere else in the office. They appear to have a clear grasp on the level of service expected in the dental field and know how to help patients, at the beginning and conclusion of what could potentially be an anxiety invoking experience, feel much more relaxed.

About Hygienist: Both Gina and Laura have always provided outstanding service during each of my appointments. It is very apparent that they take pride in their work and care about their patients. They are both very personable, friendly, and skilled. I have yet to leave their office feeling unsatisfied.

Dr. Hayashi and her staff run the best operation by far. I've had a ton of dental work done by many different offices over the years, and Dr. Hayashi's is the best. I will remain a patient here for all future dental work I might need. Dr. Hayashi is an extremely good dentist in every way. Recieved anesthetic shots multiple times, she takes great care to make sure they are painless, you will barely feel a pinch. She is very knowledgable and explains to you what is going on in your mouth and puts your best interest first. Dr. Hayashi stays up to date with the latest technology and discoveries in dental procedures to insure you are getting the best. My teeth (and gums) had 101 serious problems when I came to her a couple years back and after regular visits I have generally healthy teeth with no complications. Every individual at this office is very nice as well as being professional and organized. Great job from the front desk, assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Hayashi is also super nice lady in addition to being an excellent dentist. When I leave this office I am smiling.
