I came to Dr. Pelak after hearing about her on the radio. I was weary since I'm used to finding medical professionals through friends and family but I'm new to this area, so I figured why not. She and her staff was very nice and I'm looking forward to my next appointment. I like that they can fit me in early so that I have the rest of the day to myself.

I first saw Dr. Pelak because she did some work for my sister and it turned out beautiful. I wanted to get whitening and it had been a while since I'd seen a dentist. I ended up needed a root canal, which I expected, since i had pain back there for a long time. I was pretty nervous and wasn't going to go through with it for fear of the pain. We've all heard horror stories about root canals. I talked to Dr. Pelak about my concerns and she recommended that I receive the treatment under sedation. After working out a payment plan and scheduling my appointment I was nervous and happy to get it all over with. I'm so glad that I did because now I'm pain free and have a very white smile. I never miss my 6 month appointment now and I've been "on track" ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Pelak to anyone.. even the chickens like me.

Dr. Anna pelak is worst dentist I ever met. Her service is poor and she does not treat you well. She seems like working for money and she does not care about patient's teeth. I would not recommend anybody to go to her. I am very disappointed by her treatment. She does not litsen to you at all.

I do not recommend whatsoever. She does not know what she's doing. Had to go back SEVERAL times(4 times to be exact) to get my crown to be the right color. And the last time it still wasn't right. Had to whiten my teeth to be exact and that's only temporary. She sucks and that's final.

DR ANNA PELAK IWILL CREATE MORE ISSUES THEN THERE REALLY ARE. BEWARE. THE ONLY REASON I RATED HER A 1 IS BECAUSE THE WOULD NOT LET ME LEAVE IT A BIG FAT ZERO! i went in for a filling and was told that i needed to have "inlays" done on the top back 3 molars. i insisted that there was no pain but she insisted that they absolutely needed these inlays or i would have to get root canals done on all 3 teeth. so i trusted her. i had to wait of course 3 weeks for the inlay to come in. went in to have it replace and it didn’t fit right. had to wait another 4 weeks before i would get it done so i waited about for 7 weeks with a temp inlay in my tooth. during the last week (wk 6) the temp fell out and i was told by her receptionist to glue it in with Fixodent. not pleasant. when i finally was able to go in a get it done, the hygienist scraped the glue off the inside of my tooth without numbing and repeated hit me in the nerve with the pick. again, not pleasant.

About Hygienist: (cont.)after that, the tooth was never the same, the pain progressed, but i was pregnant and could not get it fixed again until the baby came out. by that time i was in severe pain, could not eat on that side at all. funny how i was fine, no pain, but the minute she touched it, it was ruined. i proceeded to go to another dentist to have it looked at. His diagnosis was that the nerves were severely traumatized and i would have to go to a specialist for a root canal and get a full crown put on. after the specialist review my x-rays, he determined that this tooth at the time would have been fine with just a filling, that they measures Anna Pelak went to were unnecessary. he also said that i was not the first patient that had come to him to fix her mistakes. Now i am left paying for the crown 100% on my own because of the damage she did to my tooth. this is not the only issue i have had. several teeth that i had major work on have never been the same, very sensitive now to hot/cold, to pressure on them, i have to watch how i bit on things. DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTIST. YOU WILL SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS LIKE I DID, YET CONTIUNE TO HAVE ISSUE AFTER ISSUE WITH HER WORK!

I do not recommend this dentist at all, I really recommend everyone stay away from her. First of all they took 18 x-rays. Then when the Dr. herself gave me the shots of novocaine, she was so rough and I had an attack. Throwing up, sweating, heart palpitations, my head felt like it was in a vice. Turns out she either used novocaine with effedra or she shot me in a nerve. Got two crowns and a root canal and both crowns have been bothering me since and it's been a hear and a half. Went to another dentist and he said she did an awful job of the crown, it was not flush to the gum line, I got a cavity because of that. Today the crown completely fell off for no reason whatsoever. Contacted her and she just told me I had to travel to her office so she could look at it, no I'm sorry, no nothing. My insurance won't pay for another crown since it was only a year and a half ago, so I have to get one done and then have it go into appeal. This dentist is awful. I wonder how many other people have had issues like this. She should not be in practice.

My overall experience was very rewarding. Dr Pelak took alot of time out of her busy schedule to answer my many questions regarding my treatment. She walked me through it step by step with reasonable expectations and has a trained staff who help me out to understanding my insurance as well. I really love my new smile and thank her and her wonderful staff.

About Hygienist: The hygienists were all very friendly, informative , and showed alot of care and concern to me as a patient.

Dr. Pelak seems very rushed and is annoyed when you ask questions. She wants you in and out. Her staff also seems stressed and impatient. NOT recommended!

Old equipment causing issues. X ray has to ben taken multiple times due to film exposure being wrong. Most of the modern offices use x ray directly hooked with computer to get imaging. Waste of time, money, and my health exposing to x ray multiple times for the same picture. Went in for a cavity treatment, I was automatically put into scaling, deep cleaning before the cavity work. Asked the staff and their response was that my insurance covers it. I didn't agree with the service of scaling nor my approval was given, but they went and filed it. Fraud??? You bet! A dirty tactic played and I didn't feel good about it at all. Avoid.
