I have been coming to Watkins Family Dentistry since Dr. Watkins came to the Elkhart area and have always been pleased with his work and that of the hygenists and assistants. Dr. Watkins seems to be concerned about helping people keep healthy teeth and attractive smiles. I have cleanings every six months, have had fillings done, have had trays made for teeth whitening, etc.

I went for an exam, knowing that I had a large cavity. Having a history of " bad teeth", I assumed there was a possibility the tooth may need a root canal. Being right wasn't what I had hoped for, but Dr and his staff were very comforting ( as I was crying). this being my fourth root canal in my lifetime, I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong. I felt nothing, from the injection, through the root canal, and now a day later. He did ask repeatedly throughout the process to be sure all was well, and it was. I am very very impressed with his skill, his "bedside manner", his compassion, and his staff as well. phenomenal experience..... for a dentist appointment.

Had some cosmetic work, dr Watkins seems to scam the insurance company by billing them the full amount and then taking half from you while the insurance charges are still pending, he double bills the insurance company, in the end your insurance won't cover it and them your stuck with a huge bill to dr Watkins, scam artist is what they are.
