This man was so rude to me, but especially to his staff. I left his office in tears. I would never recommend him to anyone!

I have been previously "re-treated" by this dentist without issue. However, this time I am being again being re-treated for a root canal issue and have been in complete pain and stress for up to 2 weeks after the procedure. Was told this is normal. Now a month after treatment, same tooth is in extreme pain again and I'm not sure I want to go back to this dentist based on other reviews I'm just now seeing. Apparently "pain" is part of his treatment plan and he seems to think it normal and only prescribs narcotics. No antibiotics were ever given to me despite being told I had an infection and absess.

I went in with pain. A root canal was done. I am still in pain and now with occasional numbness. I have been to scared to return to a dentist.

I was not pleased with Dr. Grimes' "chair-side manner". He did not introduce himself to me or explain what he was going to do. After the procedure was done, he had made me feel like I was a complete inconvenience and that I was at "fault" for any of the discomfort I had. The procedure itself was very painful, as it would have been anywhere, but it was a very stressful experience for me. The treatment itself was a success and I was glad I was able to get done what I needed, I just don't recommend this Dr. to anyone who gets anxiety over dental procedures because he will not empathize in any way at all.

I think he is a very rude Dr and has no bedside manner. I saw him once several years ago and was treated poorly by him. My sister saw him recently and got the same treatment

The jury's still out on success. He did an apicoectomy on a failed root canal, and we won't know for several months how it turned out. He is very kind, and his staff was really nice. I had a lot of stress and anxiety, but that's to be expected when someone is about to put a hole in your gum and drill on your tooth from the root end.
