Dr. Gutmann performed a root canal on a rear molar after it had been crowned. Apparently my previous dentist had missed a little bit. Dr. Gutmann explained to me every part of the procedure, and took plenty of time to ease my concerns.
My treatment was very successful and I haven't had any pain or worries since. I would highly recommend Dr. Gutmann to anyone who needs endodontic work.

I visited Dr. Gutmann at the Endo Group at the Preston Sherry location. His staff was helpful and responsive in getting me an appointment very quickly.
My regular dentist for the past two years had identified that I had one or two infected lower rear molars, requiring possibly 2 root canals. Dr. Gutmann conducted the evaluation and rapidly concluded that only one molar (not two!) was affected. This molar had a root canal about 3 years old that required retreatment. My treatment appointments were very pleasant and as relaxing as any dental appointment can be. Appointments ran on time and I was in and out as quickly as expected.
Dr. Gutmann's chairside manner is excellent! He explained how he acheived his diagnoses, what he did and why he did it, and answered all my questions in as much detail as I wanted.
In between visits, I had a few questions about the treatments, and between his staff and the other endodontists, all questions were answered quite timely and effectively.
His office filed all insurance paperwork. Dr. Gutmann is tops in his field technically, did wonderful work, and his office and staff made the rest of my visits a painless process.

I am only a student of dentistry and not a patient of Dr Gutmann, but I have seen him talk in two seminars at Loma Linda university where I went to dental school. He is a true clinician and unselfish human being. I believe he is one of the best the world will recognize in the pages of the history of dentistry.

I have had problems with a bad upper molar for YEARS and had gone to two different endodontists for treatment. They both did work but I still had problems.
I was finally recommended to Dr. Gutmann (yea!). He was able to determine that I had an incomplete root canal (missed by the other two endodontists). He cleaned out my infected tooth which in turn cured my raging sinus infections that I had been suffering from for years. That in turn kept me from missing work and thus saved myu job. So.... I think he is GREAT!

Great experience considering I had to have surgery. Dr. Gutmann made me feel relaxed & gave great instructions and recommendations on post-op care.
