This was the most horrifying experience I have ever gone thru! The power went off in the Reston office he had. He was going to try to finish without power. My face was bruised & swollen for 2 wks. He used old technology & it was terrible. I would not recommend him to anyone. I went to Dr. David Melrod to have it re-done & it was like night & day. I had NO PAIN - No brusie, No swelling & he used the newest technology.

Dr. Besner is unbelievable - I've had the misfortune of requiring his services several times - my fault, not his. The dental disasters I went thru were beyond description - and the pain that a couple of dentists put me thru beyond bearing. Until they gave up and sent me to Dr. Besner. His work was miraculous, with never a complaint, a complication, or a side effect. From agony to permanently pain-free in an hour. Perhaps most telling is the respect shown by dentists when they hear his name, they all but saluted. If I recall, when I first saw him, I had to pay up front, which was a little harsh. Last time, though, just normal insurance co-pay. So, found him a little expensive - but more than worth it.

One of the best dentists I have ever been to. He did a very difficult root canal (a back tooth with three roots) which was virtually painless by root canal standards. Procedure was gentle, efficient, and well explaned. Office was extremely good about following up. Everything worked the first time. Quality work.
