He did a root canal on a molar recently, and he did a fantastic job. No pain during the procedure. Minimal swelling after. Very easy to talk to, as well. He is highly spoken of by my dentist and periodontist!

This is my second time with Dr. Bailey. This one is a root canal retreatment which required him to drill through a bridge, through a metal post to get to the tip of the root to the tiny spot of infection. The first appoint took 2 hours most of which was drilling through the obstacles. Dr Bailey was friendly, patient, explained everything upfront so I knew what to expect and made sure that I was comfortable during the entire process. I did tell him he had too much personality to be a Dr.! :-) I would highly recommend all my friends and family in need of endodontic services to see Dr. Bailey! He's the best!

Dr. Engel is the other endodontist, an associate, in Dr. Bailey's practice. Dr. Engel did my root canal, which was a RETREAT (re-do of a bad root canal job done years before by a general dentist). Dr. Engel was WONDERFUL! He's soft-spoken, calm, very honest, very gentle. The whole procedure was a breeze -- I went in feeling very scared (based on my prior experience w/the other dentist who did the root canal before), and Dr. Engel and his staff put me right at ease. Dr. Engel was very thorough, has all the latest technology devices, and explains everything as he goes along. He's just great. My root canal retreat appears to be a complete success. It had become infected from the job a previous dentist had done years ago. I can't recommend Dr. Engel highly enough. He's nice to look at, too! Hope he stays in Va. Beach, in case I ever need another root canal.

Dr. Bailey did my first root canal. I was very nervous and he made me feel comfortable and at-ease (as much I could be for a root canal). He is efficient and gets the job done well without any wasted time. His costs seem to be around what other endodontists charge. His office is beautiful and airy. His staff is great and you can tell that the staff really likes and respects him and vice-versa which tells me a lot about his character. He has all the latest dental equipment and digital xray so I felt confident in his evaluation of the tooth and his workmanship. Overall, I highly recommend him.

Did a wonderful job on my root canal. Pain free/stress free experience. Dr. Bailey took time to explain everything before he did the work. Wonderful staff.
