Starting going to Dr. Murphy because she was close to home (never do this). Dr. Murphy left decay behind a tooth that did not need a filling. I then had to go to another dentist. Another filling she did on a molar decayed as well, I went back to her to correct this, she charged me three weeks later for an emergency visit to check her own work, then told me I probably had periodontal problems when I did not (had that checked- have never had any gum problems). Switched dentists and she refused to send a copy of my xrays to new dentist stating I had not paid my emergency charge bill that was never given to me at time of visit. Laughed at me one time after taking out a silver filling claiming it cracked and replace with cheaply done white filling, this was the filling that later failed and my tooth broke off of the back, and I had to have redone elsewhere. Hardly a cavity before being her patient - she did four fillings in four years, went back to old dentist, he was upset at all at of the work done to me. Please choose a better dentist than Dr. Murphy.

I was a patient of Dr. Brigidanne Murphys for almost four years. I have always had good teeth, not many fillings, don't get cavities that often until I started going to Dr. Murphy. Had good dental insurance at time, once a year she found a cavity, told me I needed one of my silver redone due to it cracked, could not see any cracks. She left decay behind in a tooth she did a white filling on, this was a tooth she diagnosed as have a hole with no xray. It decayed to point of almost a root canal within two years. One molar she insisted on putting white filling in from silver cracked off the back three years after she worked on it. She refused to release my dental xrays to me after I switched dentists saying I owed her money that she charged me after I left the office in a mailing bill to recheck her own work that I had to have redone by another dentist as she left a lip in the back and a big gap. She also laughed at me on the phone and said she could throw away my dental records after two years of me not being her patient anymore, this was when she refused to give me copies of my dental xrays. I am very sorry I ever went to Dr. Murphay. You trust that they are the professionals and got into this business to help people not hurt them.

I cannot stand going to the dentist, to be honest. But Dr Murphy's office is wonderful and I really enjoy going there. Never a problem, and they really take care of me!!
