Dr. Hennessy took over holly family dental. I took my daughter there last year. She did not know how to use the new equipment. She neglected to tell me that the former Dr. (whose reviews I had read) had sold the practice. She tried to do a route canal on a child without administering lydocaine. I went in for fillings and they did not have resin prepared and tried to push amalgam. All of my fillings fell out within 4 months. Dr. put in a temp. crown for my wife. After 1 month she did not have the permanent crown ready. The temp fell out and was replaced with another temp which fell out 2 weeks later. We left multiple messages on the emergency line but the calls were not returned. The Dr. claimed that my wife's voice mail was full but did not attempt to call my 2 cells or my office number on file. A few weeks later, the office called me to schedule a cleaning. I asked about the crown. They still did not have the permanent crown. A few weeks later, the Dr. received the crown and tried to put it in. It did not fit. She put in another temp that fell out and the post fell out. She finally fixed everything and apologized for dropping the ball but sent a contradictory letter. Staff was very rude when I called to discuss.
About Hygienist: They dropped the ball when it came to fillings. They did not ask what I wanted and tried to use amalgam in spite of previous instructions. The hygienist then tried to debate the danger of heavy metal poisoning from amalgam.

I found Dr. Hennessy's office and staff to be very professional and curtous. My Dental health has never been so good thanks to Dr. Hennessy
