Was having tooth pulled on bottom. Dr. was pushing down on my lower jaw so hard it felt like my skin was tearing inside. I kept trying to tell him this and he just kept saying he wasn't working up there and I had "strange nerves". I ended up having a panic attack and running from the office. After I got home I looked inside my mouth and saw my skin was torn on one side and there are horrible stress or stretch marks on the other side. Dr. Meckfessel is a HORRIBLE compassionless uncaring jerk!

I have been to Absolute Dental many times and have been treated very well in the past. It is understandable that such a large company can’t always be aware of the things that go on at every location. A particular incident occurred at Absolute Dental 971 Topsy Lane Suite #333 Carson City, Nevada 89705 on October 14th, 2010 at approximately 8A.M. that you might not be aware of.
On the day mentioned above I took both my son and daughter for an 8 0’clock morning appointment with a dentist by the name of Meckfessel. When I arrived I was told to wait outside as my son was lead into a patient room. Shortly thereafter I heard Meckfessel yelling in a shocking and extremely disturbing tone “Don’t move because I’m going to hurt you!!”
I was immediately frightened and requested to see my son. I went into the room my son and Meckfessel were in and proceeded to observe the situation. It took me no time to notice that he was being way too rough with my son. The form and manner in which he was handling my son’s mouth was assaulting. My son Anthony is four years old. Meckfessel wasn’t being careful or mindful of the fact that he was dealing with a young child.

best dentist my family has ever had.he is very compassionate and pain free tooth removal. ill never go to another dentist again.

Worst dentist I have ever been to. Looks at you like a pay check not a patient. Refused to help with my pain and when asked if I can jut get my tooth pulled to get rid of the pain he told me "I won't help you." The cost of certain procedures change on who you are and if he likes how much the insurance company is going to pay him. Don't go to him poor chair side manner. HORRIBLE!
