I would just like to note that I was a patient of Dr Newman's as a child. Parents do not take your children here, I am 32 years old and I am scared to death of the dentist due to the treatment this dentist put me through. I can remember telling him that I was in pain during dental work and he would tell me to shut up. I may have been 7 years old at the time. I happened to see these reviews and thought maybe I can help with the honest truth. I had seen another review that the person wrote that called another reviewer NUTS because they put the office down... wondering if it's not the office staff??? Horrible people.

Dr Newman was rude to my child and myself. He talked down to my child for having issues with her teeth. My daughter cried when we got in the car and said he was mean. I will NEVER bring my daughter back to him or recommend him

Dr. Newman's office literally kicked me out and told me daughter to get out of their chair, because I was insistent about being with my 6&7 year old girls for their appointments. This is absurd, unprofessional and unacceptable.

Horrible! He doesn't allow parents to go back with kids after age 6. I don't agree at all...dentists are scary and it is expected that kids are uncomfortable and nervous. Parents should be allowed back to comfort and reassure their own child. A dentist who is a stranger to my child should not be the one trying to comfort them. What reason do they have to trust that person? I wouldn't want them to anyways. My daughter left in tears she was in pain due to the xray bites and said she couldn't breathe with them in her mouth. Despite her complaining and crying to the dentist he continued and also did multiple attempts at xrays because he wasn't getting a good shot. I'm sure she felt forced to do something that she wasn't comfortable with and that shouldn't have happened without me present and consoling her.we will not be returning!

my daughter went in for her 6 month cleaning. she was anxious b/c she had 2 loose front teeth..she wanted me to go in with her..dr newman refused to let me accompany her..he was unprofessional and showed no compassion. i would not recommend him
About Hygienist: the hygenist was very considerate but her hands were tied basically.
