Garza Dental on Southmost is very cheap but very bad. They recommend you pull out teeth when its not necessary. Get a 2nd opinion after this place and you'll see, horrible dentistry.

I would like to report a dentist, Joseph Yoste , of Joseph Yost, DDS - Dentist
Garza Dental, 2744 Southmost Rd , Brownsville, TX 78521.
On September 7, 2012 I went to his office to remove a tooth. First he advertised a extraction for $49.99 in newspaper, but when I got there , he stated he had to do "surgery" and that it would be $160.00, but he would give me a discount to $ 120.00, at which time I was lying on "operating table" where his secretary came in to collect the money while I was laying down before he started the "surgery"; how unprofessional is that!
Second, he applied the anesthesia at 4:00, he went out of the room and didnt return til 4:45; not sure if that was to long, because it was the most painful "extraction" I have had in my life, I felt the pain in the worst way, he said it was fine; he broke the tooth in 3 parts, not once did I rinse my mouth out throughout the "surgery", when he finished , he just walked out of the room, never telling me that he was finished or acknowledge me when he was finished, his assistant came in and said , "that's it" gave me gauze for my tooth, told me to rinse for a few hours with salt water.
On September 21, 2012, I was still in pain and went to my Dentist , Dr Hernandez (
