My first visit with the dentist was due to a filling falling out, we scheduled another appointment for me to come in at the end of the day to have the tooth (wisdom) pulled. My appointment was at 3:50 and I did my confirmation over the phone and papers were already up to date from the week prior. I work for the lubbock police department and was delayed a few minutes leaving the PD. I called at 3:45 when I was in the area to say that I would be about 5 minutes after my appointment time if not sooner cause I was 2 lights away. She said they couldn't work me in therefore would need to reschedule the appointment....really???!! I told them that I was down the road and she just said it's too late...mind you, at this point I can see their office and the clock is 3:48 but it's too late for my appointment at 3:50 pm. Best be assured that ALL of the police department AND city hall employees AND court house employees will be hearing why I will NEVER waste my time with this place again!

I wouldn't let this dentist extract teeth from my dead dog. He was absolutely inhumane when he pulled my mother's tooth. She is 92 years old. He never let the anesthetic work. She literally cried and moaned during the whole procedure and when my sister asked him to give her more he didn't. I can hope he has to watch one of his loved ones suffer like that one day.

Dr. Gerwig and his entire staff are wonderful! I highly recommend anyone who needs dental work done to go to Dr. Gerwig. I am normally terrified of dentist, but was immediately put at ease and thoroughly enjoyed every dental visit. I am very grateful to Dr. Gerwig and his ENTIRE staff for making my (major) dental work a cake walk.
