I went Dr. Allen's with ko aches and pains. Her nurse praised the condition of my teeth, and when Dr. Allen stepped in, she advised that I needed fillings. Thinking of it now it should have seemed fishy then, but i trusted her. I ended up getting fillings, then ended up not being able to eat using the left side of my mouth for two months until I had the chance and money to get another dentist to fix the damages she made. After going back to her a second time for her to fix the issue, it made it worst, so I decided to pay another dentist to ensure that she had not completely damaged my teeth. Not only is Dr. Allen rude, but her receptionist is extraordinarily rude. stay away from this dentist. She has these bad reviews for a reason. Sadly, I'm reading these reviews now. On top of that she is extremely money hungry...just ridiculous!

I did not have a good experience at this dental practice. First, I felt that Dr. Allen had poor communication. The treatment plan was not well explained at the first appointment. She also did not sufficiently answer direct questions about post-treatment. On several occasions, I waited an hour or more for my appointment. During a filling replacement procedure, Dr. Allen pressured me into forgoing anesthetic for no apparent reason other than that the office was running extremely behind schedule. During the procedure, I was in quite a bit of pain, but Dr. Allen ignored my repeated stop signals and kept working for several minutes. Following the filling replacements, I had bite sensitivity in several teeth and was unable to chew solid food. This eventually lead to having three root canals and a fourth tooth replaced with another filling (these were done by a different dentist, I left Dr. Allen's practice as soon as it became apparent that I would need significant work done). Even had I not had these problems with the replacement fillings, I would not have stayed with this dental practice because of the long wait times, poor communication, and painful procedure experience.

About Hygienist: The hygenist, Alice, was very pleasant. Her cleaning was painless and she was quite kind.
