My son was treated by Dr. Krause. He had oral surgery for an abscess and had two teeth removed. Dr. Krause was extremely professional. Understanding that my son had never had any surgery at the age of 30, he took the time to reassure my son about the upcoming surgery, explaining what was to happen very thoroughly and made him as ready for surgery as he could be. Great bedside manner and follow-up. I would recommend him highly. I am a fan. Four stars.

Dr. Krause seems like a great guy and was very knowledgeable about the procedure I needed to have done. I needed an extraction and then an implant done. Unfortunately because of the poor service I received from the office staff I had to go with another company to do the implant. Dr. Krause did a great job with the Extraction though. It was a very quick and easy procedure.

About Front Desk: The front desk staff at his office was terrible. They were very hard to work with. I had the extraction done and then had to wait several weeks for it to heal. I went back in for them to make sure it was ready for the implant. They told me it was ready, but instead of scheduling it for me right then they told me to go home and wait for a paper to come in the mail. After 2 weeks I didn't receive anything so I called in and just said I would like to schedule my appointment and they told me that I needed to wait on the paper in the mail. The office manager forgot to send it, but tried to play it off like that wasn't what happened. I waited another 4 days for it to finally get there. When it did they wanted to charge me everything up front. They said if insurance decides to pay then I could get reimbursed. I called and pressed the extension for billing. The girl I talked to claimed that only person who can answer my question was out of the office for another week. Just to point out this was a girl in the BILLING department. What office does that? Then I called and left a message, but no return phone call was received. I just decided to go with another oral surgeon. First time I call they were super friendly and said they would not charge me up front like that. They even waved the consultation fee for me. This office could be much better if they cleaned out their front desk staff, but I guess if they want to lose out on 3500 dollars that is fine by me!

After looking for an oral surgeon, we decided to go to dr Krause. We're new to Westerville, and all the info about his education, etc... On his site seemed great. I had a bad feeling in my gut - I should've known! We have excellent insurance, and this office is a provider, but they said there was a problem and we'd have to pay out of pocket until it was resolved. We paid, and after expensive treatment, they filed insurance. There was no problem at all! They collected, never let me know, and made no effort to reimburse - even though we'd already paid everything!

About Front Desk: They were so rude - always busy chatting, and acted like we were an interference! When we called about the billing issues they kept putting us off, and putting us off, never returning calls. After 2 weeks of trying every day, we finally went in to talk to someone. We had called 2 days prior, asked what time they could see us about billing, & told them when we were coming in, & we'd need to speak to someone about billing. When we got there, they told us no one was available, & we had to have an appointment. It was only when my husband told them we were going to report them to the Dental Society that they hemmed & hawed, but still wouldn't let us see anyone. Don't trust this office!

I don't recommend. My son needed his wisdom teeth removed. We have good insurance, and Dr Krause is in-network. And yet they still wanted over $600 to be paid before they would do any work. Don't we all wish we could get paid that much before doing any work! Also, the people were rather rude. And, even with an appointment, our waiting time was over an hour. No one cared to explain or apologize for that.

I personally would not recomend. The nurses did not seem to know what they were doing, the place seemed outdated & dirty, and the administrator was completely rude. I do not like the cost of the proceedure and I was overall not impressed.

About Front Desk: The front desk staff are very friendly except administrator. She needs a lesson in how to run an office.
