Let's start with a root canal and cleaning @ $1800. They filled and it was said no additional work was needed. The pain continued and they retracted that statement and insisted it needed a $1200 crown in addition to another crown poorly placed by a previous dentist. Why we are going to have to inset an implant for $4392.40. Basically 2 teeth @ roughy $7500. Now that's sounds reasonable! I elected to get a 2nd opinion. New dentist has the root canal on antibiotics and it's fine. The other crown was recrowned for $750. Not to mention they inform me my insurance wasn't covering much at all. Come to find out that they elected not to share with me that Delta dental insurance (AARP) wasn't in their network. I also had to pay $150 to get my xrays that I paid for previously.
