I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff. The preliminary paperwork and Xrays were done quickly and efficiently. Dr Oates was gentle, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have ALWAYS been VERY ANXIOUS when going to the dentist but NEVER felt ANY anxiety while getting care. His staff was EXTREMELY helpful in discussing and arranging payment options. I HAVE A DENTIST FOR LIFE!!!

About Front Desk: I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They were extremely friendly and immediately put me at ease. They also were extremely helpful in arranging flexible payment options. VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH NO STRESS!!! I'm so happy I found Dr Oakes!!!

Dr. Tim Oakes is a highly skilled dentist from a technical perspective. Additionally, he has an excellent knowledge of modern medicine and dentistry. Equally important, he is an empathetic, very caring person, who strives to make all of his patients feel relaxed and comfortable. His waiting area provides the sense of being in the midst of a man who has great respect for his staff, and procedure rooms are immaculately clean. Dr. Oakes has carefully chosen his staff to fit the microcosim of his office, and they are all very loyal to Dr. Oakes. Dr. Oakes is a man of high moral standards, who sets an excellent example for his staff. Finally, he is a man of diverse interests outside of dentistry. I would highly recommend Dr. Tim Oakes to anyone seeking a compassionate and highly skilled dentist. Having trained at Harvard Medical School, I have sense of the quality of Dr. Oakes' work.

About Front Desk: Rhonda and Tina, who staff at the front desk of Dr. Oakes' office are very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and diligent. They are well acquainted with different dental insurance company policies concerning coverage for different procedures. Additionally, their manners and effectiveness on the telephone, including followups inquiring about patients' health following a dental procedure are exemplary.

Best dental experience ever. I've not been blessed with strong healthy teeth and terrified of dentists most of my life until going to Dr. Oakes. Recommend him to friends and anyone looking for a fantastic dentist. He selects wonderful employees and has never recommended or pushed unnecessary services. The office is always clean, the staff is always friendly, courteous and contentious of your time. The follow up after dental work is comforting. I can't compliment the services from Dr. Oakes enough. I hope I never have to choose another dentist.

About Front Desk: Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding. Both Tina and Rhonda make sure whatever paperwork, optional screenings and expected payments are ready when your at their desk. I'm always reminded of appointments, and if necessary easily rescheduled. Just a fantastic team.

About Hygienist: After 20 years with Dr. Oakes, I've been though a few. Each one has been exceptional. Lisa was my first Hygienist. Loved her. Then there was Cheryl. Also much liked. My current is Mary. Love her too. Dr Oakes knows how to select the best. Only had one uncomfortable cleaning over the years, but it was a temp. My regular Hygienists have always been great.

I have had several crowns, fillings replaced, and the twice yearly checkups. You can be assured Dr. Oakes will only recommend what he believes is necessary. He is a perfectionist, and you will be able to tell that he has your best interests in mind. He even advised me on the steps needed for my son's implant---and my son lives in Frisco.

Dr Oakes is wonderful. I recommend him to all my friends and family. He is gentle and courteous and his office has a relaxed atmosphere. His staff is also wonderful and patient.

I had a horrible experience with this dentist. Their office said with my insurance, I had to pay first and then they would reimburse me later. Foolishly I paid upfront and then never got reimbursed. I had a mouthguard made to prevent grinding my teeth at night. The mouthguard was made entirely by an assistant who made adjustments at least 20 times, each time having to test it out on me again. The dentist never came in to ensure it fit at the end. It was so poorly made that within a couple of months, the guard had been chewed through, leaving me swallowing the wax in the middle of the night. I would stay away from this dentist.
