I regret picking Rana Lee as my dentist. I trusted her expertise and professionalism. She performed a root canal treatment. She missed a canal and closed the tooth with an alive canal. I had been through a lot of pain and sensitivity. During my last visit I complained to her for the increased sensitivity in the treated area, she insisted that I keep on using fluoride to decrease the sensitivity. In the following months the area swelled twice during family trips. I ended up going to a dentists after swelling really bad. The dentist sent me to an endodontist because the location of the tooth predisposed a fourth canal. The dentist said that 75% of the teeth at that location had a fourth canal and it was best for an endodontist to see me. 75% is a pretty solid number. Also, that in such cases it was best for endodontist to treat the patients because they were equipped with more powerful microscopes. The endodontist confirmed the missed canal. The xray showed that the produced liquid pierced through the jaw bone and caused the abscess. I tried contacting Dr. Lee for 2 months. Every time I was given a different reason why I couldnt talk to her, either they had not received my emails or she was out of office or she was with a patient.

I have been a patient of Dr Rana Lee for about 5 years and have spent well over $15,000 there. She is polite but does slightly below par work. 2 fillings she has done have fallen out. She missed a canal once when doing a root canal/cap and I had to go back for another root canal through the same crown she put on. She charged me again for that too, not as much as the first time, but she did charge me. My biggest complaint though is that if you ever have an emergeny and call her emergency # she will not see you. She will will give you the run-around and tell you to take pain medicine no matter how severe the pain is. If I were a dentist I would never treat my patients that way, especially a patient who spends so much money there. I have only had 2 emergency situations over the years, the first time I nearly passed out from the pain. She would not see me until her office opened the following Monday. Now I am in severe pain from a filling she did today and not only would she not see me but did not make an appointment for me. Also, one of her receptionists says she will ask the doctor something for me and call me back but doesn't. She makes her own recommendations without asking the doc and her recommendations make no sense.

About Hygienist: Also, one of Dr Lee's X-ray technicians x-rayed the wrong tooth twice, even after I pointed to and told which tooth it was before each time she did it. Then she did it wrong the first time on the correct tooth, and did it right 2 more times. So I ended up getting 5 x-rays and only 2 were good. I hope I don't get cancer!
