I cant say enough good things about this dentist. I've known, Cindy, Patty and her entire staff for years and have never had a bad experience. Dr Aten has been my dentist of choice for over 25 years because she does world class work and I trust her without question. Wether if I had crowns, veneers or cleanings, Ive always had great experiences with her. She takes all the time needed to complete the procedure, and when you leave you know the work is done properly. I live in Frisco and feel that the extra drive I make to see her is well worth the time and expense. There are a lot of dentists in Frisco, but Id rather drive to see her. When I lived Kuala Lumpur Malaysia I would make my appointments to see her when I came home rather than go to a dentist there. In summary, Dr. Susan Aten, makes you feel part of her family rather than part of her practice.

About Front Desk: Cindy has been with Dr Aten for years and always has been very helpful in getting me in to see Dr Aten if I had an emergency. She does a great job handling my insurance claims and appointments. Shes very pleasant to with with and an asset to Dr Atens office.

About Hygienist: Dr Atens hygenist Patty has been with Dr, Aten for years and when my schedule allows I try to see her. She is a very competent hygienist and know that every time I go there I can feel confident she has done a remarkable job

Dr. Aten and her staff are awesome. After being told by another dentist that I needed an implant and also needed to see a periodontist I went to see Dr. Aten not only did she fix my crown (without needing an implant) she said that I did not need a periodontist. I have been seeing her for 2 years now. I usually don't do these surveys but I feel she deserves it!

Cleaning, fillings, crowns. Definitely recommend. Office has a good feeling. Cost is typically within insurance guidelines.

About Hygienist: Patti is great also.

I have known Dr. Aten for over 9 years and can say that there is not another dentist in Dallas that I would trust my teeth with. She is an excellent dentist, who is highly skilled and compassionate. She takes the time with each of her patients to discuss the best option.....and every result has been a positive one. Ive had fillings, crowns and veneers done at her office...all with great results. Over the years I have had such wonderful experiences with her and her staff. I even invited them to my wedding!

About Hygienist: I have know Patty as long as I have know Dr. Aten. In those 9+ years, i ALWAYS ask for Patty.....she makes getting your teeth cleaned a very positive experience. I will miss both of them as I am leaving the country for two years!

I was looking for a new family dentist, close to home, good with kids. WOW!!! My little girl had her first trip to Dr. Aten with an emergancy chipped tooth. We where in and out in 62 minutes! My daughter felt very at ease with her and her staff. Dr. Aten did a wonderful job, the tooth looks perfect. The entire staff was just wonderful, the office was relaxing, and fresh. I totally recommend Dr. Aten!

About Hygienist: Olga was just great! Very sweet and reassuring for my daughter.

If you like the feel of a small office with friendly people, then Dr. Aten's office is for you. It is not pretentious in the least but she and her staff have been together a long time. She will be honest with you on what you need done and will not try to move you into expensive foreys that cost a lot of money but will not serve you any better than doing it the simple way. I had just been handed an estimate on a bunch of work from another dentist and found Dr. Aten on Dr. Oogle. I decided to at least otain a second opinion. Guess what, none of that work needed to be done unless I just wanted to. But, from a quality of life perspective, it did not need to be done. Go give her a try. If you don't like your treatment, there are a lot of other dentists just waiting to take your money.

Dr. Aten is an excellent dentist. Her staff are warm and caring.

About Hygienist: Miss Patti is another good reason to go to Dr. Aten's office. She does excellent work and makes you look forward to sessions.

Our family has been with Dr. Aten for nearly 30 years. She is an excellent caring practitioner as is all of her staff. Even though we've moved to the other side of the D/FW area, we will not change our dentist office. They are the best.

Dr. Aten and her staff are VERY good at helping anxious or fearful dental patients-they are especially kind, gentle and sympathetic to those who've had negative dental experiences in the past. Their small office is clean and well maintained and staffed by long time employees....a very efficient Receptonist/Office manager and skilled, personable hygienists. I highly recommend Dr Aten to everyone and wish that I'd had such a wonderful dentist when I was younger. I no longer have to suffer with stress and anxiety before dental appointments because I know she will take care of me with as little pain and trauma as possible.( without making feel like a big whiny baby!) They take their time and really go out of their way to make patients comfortable, which is very rare these days. If you want a high-tech office with a plasma TV on the ceiling or pedicure/ massage while you get your teeth filled...... this is not the place for you. But-if you are looking for an nice, caring family dentist and personal, friendly service, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
